Previous issue date: 2015-12-09 / O índice de violência doméstica contra a mulher no Brasil é muito elevado, desencadeando vários trabalhos sobre o tema. No entanto, foram encontrados poucos estudos sobre as consequências para os filhos, crianças e adolescentes, expostos a fatores de vulnerabilidade como a violência doméstica intrafamiliar. As consequências da violência doméstica podem ser muito sérias, pois as crianças e os adolescentes podem aprender com cada situação que vivenciam, considerando que a família é o primeiro grupo social com que o filho tem contato. A violência doméstica é uma realidade que afeta toda estrutura familiar. Os alunos que testemunham esse tipo violência podem apresentar sérios comportamentos negativos, como agressividade, medo intenso, baixa autoestima e desconfiança. Portanto, o objetivo principal deste estudo foi compreender e identificar as consequências desse tipo de violência na vida dos filhos de mulheres vítimas de violência doméstica e identificar qual seria o papel da escola diante dessa problemática, uma vez que ela é considerada um agente socializador. Esta é uma pesquisa descritiva e exploratória, que foi realizada à luz da abordagem qualitativa. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas fundamenta- das em um roteiro semiestruturado. As entrevistas foram realizadas com dez professo- res, três diretoras e três supervisoras pedagógicas, funcionárias de três escolas públicas do município de Viçosa, Minas Gerais, próximas a bairros com baixo nível socioeconô- mico, instituições com um perfil condizente com a pesquisa proposta. O resultado das entrevistas permitiu explorar certos questionamentos, como: identificação dos tipos e das consequências das violências presenciadas pelos alunos no âmbito familiar e identificação do papel da escola nesse cenário. Os dados coletados foram avaliados utilizando-se a análise de conteúdo, segundo as etapas: pré-análise, exploração do material, tratamento dos dados e interpretação. Os dados foram interpretados e analisados, buscando contextualizá-los por meio de uma revisão bibliográfica, a fim de responder à questão do estudo e atender aos objetivos propostos. Nessa perspectiva, podemos considerar que as tensões vividas nas escolas têm relação direta com as experiências traumáticas vividas pelos alunos advindos de famílias desestruturadas e que os educadores, mesmo com poucos recursos, conseguem identificar os problemas que os alunos estão enfrentando e suas repercussões na vida acadêmica e social. Constatamos, portanto, que esses alunos aprendem com cada situação que testemunham e/ou vivenciam no ambiente familiar e passam a reproduzi-la no ambiente escolar. Não obstante, ficou evidenciada a importância do papel dos educadores na identificação e no enfrentamento da violência. / The rate of domestic violence against women in Brazil is very high, triggering several papers on the subject. However, they found few studies on the consequences of violence for children; children and adolescents exposed the vulnerability of domestic factors such as domestic violence. The consequences of domestic violence can be very serious, since children and adolescents can learn from every situation you experience, considering that the family is the first social group to which the child has contact. Domestic violence is a reality that affects the entire family structure. Students who witness violence in the family can trigger entail serious negative behaviors, such as aggression, intense fear, low self-esteem and distrust and fear. Therefore, the present study has the main objective to understand and identify the consequences that this violence can cause to the lives of children of women victims of domestic violence, and to identify what would be the role of the school on this issue, since it is considered a socializing agent. This is a descriptive and exploratory research that was carried out in the light of a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews based on a semi-structured. Interviews were conducted with ten teachers, three directors and three pedagogical supervisors, employees of three public schools in the municipality of Viçosa, close to neighborhoods with low socioeconomic development low level, institutions with a profile consistent with the proposed research. The result of the interviews allowed us to explore certain questions, such as: identification of the types and consequences of violence witnessed by the students in the family and identify the role of schools in this scenario. Data collected was analyzed using content analysis, according to the stages: pre-analysis; exploration of the material; and processing the data and interpreting results. The data were interpreted and analyzed, seeking to contextualize them through a literature review in order to answer the question of the study and meet the proposed objectives. From this perspective, we can consider that the tensions experienced in schools are directly related to the traumatic experiences of the students coming from broken families and educators, even with limited resources, can identify problems that students are facing and their impact on academic life and social. We note, therefore, that these students learn from each situation that witness and/or experience in the home environment and start to play them at school. However, the authors emphasize the importance of the role of educators in identifying and addressing violence.
