Previous issue date: 2014 / Este trabalho tem como objeto de estudo o discurso sobre a língua nas matrizes de referência
para avaliação da redação do Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio, objetivando investigar as
redes de significação em torno da noção de língua. Para isso, à luz da Análise do Discurso
franco-brasileira, foi realizada a análise documental das edições de 2012 e 2013 dos guias “A
redação no ENEM: guia do participante”, disponibilizados pelo INEP aos participantes da
prova. Em nossa investida analítica, procuramos compreender os efeitos de sentido sobre a
língua neste corpus, problematizando as relações que ele mantém com os saberes linguísticos
e a história do ensino de Língua Portuguesa, além da constituição dos processos seletivos de
ingresso no ensino superior. A partir dessa análise, compreendemos que, marcados por
saberes diversos, algumas vezes conflitantes, outras consonantes, os Guias trazem em si uma
tentativa de romper com o passado de tradição gramatical. Entretanto, há redes de significação
em que ressoam uma concepção de língua imaginária, na qual os efeitos da memória se
mantêm. Assim, ponderamos que não há ruptura, uma vez que os sentidos produzidos no
discurso sobre a língua na avaliação da produção escrita nas matrizes de referência para
redação 2012/2013 funcionam de forma heterogênea, convivendo, interagindo e
(re)significando, conforme as condições de produção. Nessas redes parafrásticas, constituídas
na repetibilidade do dizer, o velho se mantém no novo, (re) produzindo sentidos sempre antes
já-lá. / This paper aims to study the speech about language in the competences evaluated in the essay
section of the National Exam of High School (ENEM), aiming to investigate the signification
webs over the language concept. In order to do that, enlightened by the French-Brazilian
Discourse Analysis, the documental analysis was made based on the 2012 and 2013 guides
called “The essay section on ENEM: participant guide”, provided by INEP to the participants
of the test. Throughout our analytical attempt, we sought to comprehend the sense effects over
language in this corpus, questioning the relationship that it maintains with the linguistic
knowledge and the history of teaching the Portuguese Language, besides the constitutions of
the selective process to join graduate school. From this analysis, we understand that, marked
by diverse knowledge, conflicting at times, other consonants, the Guides bring along an
attempt to break the past Grammar tradition. Nevertheless, there are some signification webs
that resound a conception of imaginary language, in which the memory effects remain. Thus,
we ponder that there is no rupture, once the sense produced in the discourse over language in
the assessment of the writing piece in the reference matrix for the 2012/2013 essay section
work as a heterogeneous way, living with it, interacting and (re)signification, according to the
conditions of production. In those paraphrastic webs, constituted by the repeatability of the
saying, the old remains in the new, (re)producing senses that have been there before.
