O presente estudo trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, descritiva que investigou a interface entre o lazer e o uso de drogas por meio da percepção dos usuários em tratamento em um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial álcool e outras drogas (CAPS ad) de Cuiabá /MT. Participaram da pesquisa 10 usuários do sexo masculino, com idade média de 26 anos. Os dados foram coletados utilizando-se um roteiro de entrevista semiestruturada e transcritos posteriormente. Para análise foi utilizada a técnica de Análise de Conteúdo (Bardin, 2011) executado em 03 (três) fases: Pré-análise, Exploração do Material, Tratamento dos Resultados. A categorização dos temas principais e suas respectivas unidades de registro foram realizadas manualmente. Foram identificados 11 temas, que foram agrupados em 4 grandes categorias: Interface entre lazer e uso de drogas; Importância do lazer para a saúde; Fatores que dificultam o lazer e Fatores que facilitam o lazer. Por meio das falas dos participantes, foi possível identificar que estes percebem prejuízos com o uso de drogas, porém sempre associam o lazer ao uso. Identificam a condição financeira e o próprio desemprego como principais fatores que dificultam as atividades, uma vez que limita o acesso ao lazer que a cidade oferece. O excesso de trabalho, a necessidade de trabalhar e estudar contribuem para a falta de tempo ao lazer. Percebem que a mudança de comportamento é uma atitude importante que poderá facilitar o envolvimento em atividades de lazer. Também consideram o lazer importante para a saúde; e percebem a falta de atuação do Estado, por meio de Políticas Públicas que promovam o lazer acessível a todos. Os resultados deste estudo voltado para a temática do lazer e uso de drogas mostram a importância da conexão (com as) entre diferentes áreas de conhecimento, como a possibilidade de enfrentamento desse problema que é o uso abusivo de drogas, que tem sido crescente na atualidade, e que tem acarretado prejuízos significativos em todas as áreas da vida das pessoas. / The present study is a qualitative, descriptive research that investigated the interface between leisure and drug use through the perception of users undergoing treatment in a Psychosocial Care Center for alcohol and other drugs (CAPS ad) in Cuiabá/MT. Ten male users, with a mean age of 26 years, participated in the study. Data were collected using a semi-structured interview script and later transcribed. For analysis, the Content Analysis technique (Bardin, 2011) was used in 03 (three) phases: Pre-analysis, Material Exploration, Treatment of Results. The categorization of the main themes and their respective recording units were done manually. Eleven themes were identified and grouped into four broad categories: Interface between leisure and drug use; Importance of leisure for health; Factors that hinder leisure and Factors that facilitate leisure. Through the speeches of the participants, it was possible to identify that they perceive damages with the use of drugs, but always associate leisure to the use. They identify financial condition and unemployment itself as the main factors that hinder the activities, since it limits the access to leisure that the city offers. Overwork, the need to work and study contribute to lack of leisure time. They perceive that behavior change is an important attitude that may facilitate involvement in leisure activities. They also consider leisure important for health; and perceive the lack of action of the State, through Public Policies that promote leisure accessible to all. The results of this study on the theme of leisure and drug use show the importance of the connection (with) between the different areas of knowledge, such as the possibility of coping with this problem, which is the abuse of drugs, which has been increasing nowadays, and that has caused significant losses in all areas of people's lives.
