Previous issue date: 2012-03-23 / This research was developed with the objective to investigate the contributions to
social, cultural and musical of the implementation of the Music Curriculum
Matrix elaborated by the Center for Study and Research Ciranda da Arte
linked to the process of Curriculum reorientation of the Education Departament of
the State of Goiás. The research is inserted therefore in the context of music
education as a discipline of public basic education in the metropolitan area. In its
development we were careful to contextualize the Music Curriculum Matrix from
Goiás about the theoretical, historical, methodological and structural aspects. We
seek to centralize our studies in its implementation, specifically about the
elaboration e application of the Teaching Sequences. These were suggested as a
didactic proposal for the implementation of the Music Curriculum Matrix in the
classroom. After explaining the concepts and the process to develop these
sequences, we present the data collected during its implementation in two public
schools in Goiânia, trough classroom observations, questionnaires among students
and interviews with the participants teachers. In the end, from data analysis and
interpretation, we were able to describe the process of implementing these
sequences, highlighting the achievements and the obstacles that arose. We could
establish links between this process and the results and characteristics of the
Music Curriculum Matrix from Goiás. The reflections that show up are important
to understanding this historical moment for music education in Goiás public
schools. / Esta pesquisa se desenvolveu com o objetivo de investigar as contribuições
sociais, culturais e musicais da implementação da Matriz Curricular de Música -
elaborada pelo Centro de Estudo e Pesquisa Ciranda da Arte - vinculada ao
processo de Reorientação Curricular da Secretaria de Educação do Estado de
Goiás. A pesquisa está inserida, portanto, no contexto do ensino de música
enquanto disciplina da rede pública de educação básica na região Metropolitana.
No desenvolvimento da mesma, nos preocupamos em contextualizar a Matriz
Curricular de Música de Goiás quanto a seus aspectos teóricos, históricos,
metodológicos e estruturais. Buscamos centralizar nossos estudos no processo de
implementação da mesma, especificamente no que se relaciona à elaboração e
aplicação de Sequências Didáticas. Estas foram sugeridas como proposta didática
para a concretização da Matriz Curricular em sala de aula. Após explicitar os
conceitos e o processo de elaboração das Sequências Didáticas, apresentamos os
dados coletados durante a aplicação das mesmas em duas escolas da rede pública
de Goiânia, por meio das observações de aulas, aplicação de questionários entre
os estudantes e realização de entrevistas com os professores participantes. Ao
final, a partir da análise e interpretação dos dados, pudemos descrever o processo
de implementação das Sequências, destacando os resultados obtidos e os entraves
que se colocaram. Pudemos estabelecer relações entre esse processo, seus
resultados e as características da Matriz Curricular de Música de Goiás. As
reflexões que se apresentam são importantes para a compreensão desse momento
histórico para a educação musical na rede pública estadual de Goiás.
