Previous issue date: 2017-02-14 / Introduction: Medical education needs to go through reflections regularly so that we can reflect on what kind of professionals and that profile is required for adequate preparation to the labor market. So it is important not only ethical reflection and technology, but also in the way you learn the disciplines of medical training. A realistic assessment should include a participatory assessment of satisfaction that can enable the debate between servers - teachers and técnicos-, but as well as students who are the most important link - if not essential - the reason for the existence of the University. Objectives: To analyze the level of satisfaction of the students of the Faculty of Medicine, Federal University of Goiás in relation to discipline Operative Technique, focusing on satisfaction with the teachers attitudes, perception of infrastructure, equipment and human resources, as well as teaching teaching the surgical technique of discipline on the menu. Methods: it was initially performed a literature review concerning the Brazilian educational guidelines about the area and operative technique as well as the latest research in the last 10 years, based on the database between the years 2003-2015. Then was administered questionnaire with Likert Scale duly registered with the Committee of Ethics in Research of the UFG and Platform Brazil students from the Technical discipline operative in the last school month. Data from 71 students were then stored in spreadsheets and analyzed using Epi-Info 7.1. After analysis of the data was carried out discussion of the data obtained and compared with the existing literature and characterize the level of students' satisfaction with the surgical technique of discipline. Results: it was found that most of the students are female, aged 20-21 years old who spend up to 2 hours weekly to study the subject and 64.8% only sometimes refer to literature indicated. It was also observed that the discipline of Operative Techniques attended the expecatativas of 85.91% of students and 88.73% positively evaluated the discipline. The evaluation area Infrastructure Course and Instructional Resources, obtaining the highest dissatisfaction frequencies at level 1 and level 2 by the students. Conclusion: It is suggested the need to update the bibliography indicated on the menu of course, recommending also the need for greater investment in physical facilities of discipline and improvements in the area observed a positive satisfaction rating at the level of excellence for the area assessment human resources, indicating the maintenance of the monitoring program in the discipline as well as the
performance of technical and administrative staff and especially the qualification of the teaching staff, which was the most highly rated by students with 95.78% satisfaction positive. / Introdução: A educação médica necessita passar por reflexões regularmente, para que possamos refletir sobre que tipo de profissionais e quais habilidades são necessárias para um adequado preparo ao mercado de trabalho. Por isso é importante não somente a reflexão ética e técnica, mas também no modo como se aprende as disciplinas da formação médica. Uma avaliação realista deve compreender uma avaliação participativa da satisfação que possa viabilizar o debate entre os servidores (docentes e técnicos), bem como dos estudantes que constituem o elo essencial da razão da existência da Universidade. Objetivos: verificar o nível de satisfação dos estudantes da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade Federal de Goiás em relação à disciplina de Técnica Operatória, enfocando na satisfação em relação às três grandes áreas de avaliação: Atuação específica docente, Infraestrutura e recursos didáticos, Aulas ministradas, Recursos humanos e Notas de avalição geral da disciplina de técnica operatória. Métodos: foi realizado inicialmente uma revisão da literatura acerca dos estudos em educação médica relativos à área de técnica operatória, bem como das pesquisas mais recentes nos últimos 10 anos, com base em bancos de dados entre os anos de 2003-2016. Em seguida foi aplicado questionário baseado na Escala de Likert devidamente registrado no Comite de Ética em Pesquisa da UFG e na Plataforma Brasil aos estudantes da disciplina de Técnica operatória do segundo semestre de 2015. Os dados obtidos de 71 estudantes foram então armazenados em planilhas eletrônicas e analisados no Programa Epi-Info 7.1. Após a análise dos dados foi realizada discussão dos dados obtidos e comparados com a literatura existente e que caracterizassem o nível de satisfação dos estudantes em relação a disciplina de técnica operatória. Resultados: verificou-se que a maior parte dos alunos são do gênero feminino, com idade entre 20-21 anos de idade, que dedicam semanalmente até 2 horas ao estudo da disciplina e que 64,8% apenas consultam às vezes a bibliografia indicada. Observou-se ainda que a disciplina de Técnicas Operatórias atendeu as expecatativas de 85,91% dos estudantes e que 88,73% avaliaram positivamente a disciplina. A área de avaiação Infraestrutura da Disciplina e Recursos Didáticos, obtendo as maiores frequências de insatisfação no nível 1 e nível 2 por parte dos estudantes. Conclusão: Sugere-se a necessidade de atualização da bibliografia indicada na ementa da disciplina, recomendando-se ainda a necessidade de maiores investimentos nas instalações físicas da disciplina e melhorias na área de Verificou-se índice de satisfação positiva em nível de excelência para a área de avaliação Recursos humanos, indicando-se a manutenção do do Programa de Monitoria na disciplina, bem como da atuação do corpo técnico-administrativo e especialmente da qualificação do corpo docente, que foi o mais bem avaliado pelos alunos com 95,78% de satisfação positiva.
