Previous issue date: 2014-12-19 / Esse trabalho teve como objetivo geral de avaliar o desempenho financeiro da empresa Korum Confecções, situado no polo têxtil pernambucano, através de uma pesquisa quanti-qualitativa. Inicialmente utilizaram-se as informações numéricas contábeis, extraídas das demonstrações contábeis da empresa em estudo, como instrumento que descreva o estado da empresa facilitando na gestão financeira de curto prazo, por meio de indicadores econômico-financeiros, tais como índices de liquidez, rotatividade, endividamento, e lucratividade, em seguida, compara seu desempenho com a do setor. Finalizando, conduzir-se-á uma entrevista do tipo semiestruturada com um dos diretores para compreender melhor o desempenho financeiro da mesma, e obter mais informações, estas alem das quais os números por si só não conseguiram explicar. As evidências encontradas mostram que, a empresa vem passando por mudanças, no qual o período analisado ainda não conseguiu atingir os melhores picos quanto ao desempenho financeiro. No entanto, os resultados finais apresentados pela organização passaram a ser relevante demonstrando que a empresa já iniciou esse o processo de modernização no tratamento das informações, com a aquisição de um software integrador, conforme dissertou um dos diretores, refletindo na tomada de decisão e aprimoramento do planejamento financeiro da mesma. / This research aimed to evaluate the financial performance of the company Korum Clothing Company, located in Pernambuco (textile hub), through a quantitative and qualitative research. Initially we used the numerical financial information extracted from the financial statements of the company under study as a tool to describe the state of the company in facilitating short-term financial management through financial indicators such as liquidity ratios, turnover, indebtedness, profitability and then compare its performance with the sector. Finally, semi-structured type of interview with one of the directors will lead-up to better understand the financial performance, and add more details in this study, which are beyond these numbers allowing better explanations. However, the final results presented, by the organization, became relevant demonstrating that the enterprise has already started that the modernization in the processing of information, with the acquisition of an integrator software, as one of the directors spoke, reflecting in the improvement of the decision making and financial planning of the Korum Company.
