Previous issue date: 2015-02-26 / CAPES / O objetivo desse trabalho foi investigar como, em Serra Talhada, cidade pernambucana da Mesorregião do Sertão Pernambucano, Microrregião do Pajeú, ocorreu a criação do imaginário Lampiônico na construção cultural do município. Além disso,analisou-se, como se deram as disputas pelo compromisso em divulgar a imagem de Lampião, como pressuposto de ser um representante do turismo municipal. A tradição de se trabalhar a imagem de Lampião no município de Serra Talhada seria de forma intencional e, acima de tudo, datável! O embasamento teórico da pesquisa se perfez, dentre outras, das falas de Paul Claval, Vicent Berdoulay, Durval M. de Albuquerque Jr, Lobato Correa,Cornelius Castoriads, Gilbert Durand, Edgar Morin, Manoel C. de Andrade, Frederico P. de Mello entre outros. Tendo como instrumento de pesquisa a entrevista semiestruturada, deu-se ênfase à tríade: a cultura como elemento tranformador do espaço e da memória humana, o imaginário como simbologia presente no espaço serratalhadense e, por fim, depoimentos de moradores da cidade sobre suas imagens acerca da figura de Lampião. O resultado obtido foi que o processo de (trans)formação do imaginário lampiônico no município de Serra Talhada foi a, princípio, construído de forma natural: através das informações orais entre os moradores e, em menor escala, através do jornal, do cordel e do cinema. Em seguida, houve um planejamento, o qual envolvia grupo de pessoas interessadas em lucrar com a imagem do seu filho mais ilustre. Esse interesse em se trabalhar de forma exacerbada a imagem de Lampião se deu, especificamente, a partir do plebiscito ocorrido no ano de 1991, data de fundamental importância para se compreender como se processara a efetivação desse imaginário. / The aim of this study was to investigate how, in Serra Talhada Hewn, Pernambuco city of Mesoregion the Hinterland Pernambucano, microrregion the Pajeú occurred creating the imaginary Lampiônico the cultural construction of the county. Furthermore, it was examined, as have disputes the commitment to disseminate the image of Lampião, as assumed to be a representative of the municipal tourism. The tradition of working the image of Lampião in Serra Hewn would intentionally and, above all, datable! The theoretical basis of the research is amounted, among others, the speeches of Paul Claval, Vicent Berdoulay, Durval M. de Albuquerque Jr, Lobato Correa, Cornelius Castoriads, Gilbert Durand, Edgar Morin, C. Manoel de Andrade, Frederick P. Mello among others. Having as a research tool to semi-structured interview, gave emphasis to the triad culture as transformer element of space and human memory, the imagination as present in serratalhadense space and finally symbology, testimonials from city residents about their images on the Lampião figure. The result was that the process of (trans) formation of lampiônico imaginary in Serra Talhada was, first, built in a natural way: through oral information between residents and, to a lesser extent, through the newspaper, the string and of cinema. Then there was a plan, which involved group of people interested in profiting from the image of its most illustrious son. This interest in working in an exacerbated form the Lampião image occurred, specifically, from the plebiscite held in the year 1991, the date of fundamental importance to understand how sued the realization of this imaginary.
