Previous issue date: 2017-06-21 / No processo de construção corporal, pessoas transgêneros fazem uso de hormônios sexuais com a finalidade de readequação do corpo ao gênero do qual julga pertencer. Esta dissertação objetivou analisar o autocuidado de mulheres transexuais em uso de hormônios sexuais à Luz da Teoria Geral de Orem. Para alicerçar o estudo, foi realizada uma revisão integrativa com o objetivo de analisar as evidências científicas nacionais e internacionais acerca dos cuidados à saúde de transexuais em uso de hormônios nas bases de dados LILACS, MEDLINE, BDENF, CINAHL e CUIDEN. A análise dos artigos possibilitou identificar três categorias temáticas: o baixo conhecimento dos efeitos colaterais do uso dos hormônios, o uso empírico dos hormônios sexuais e a Discriminação e fatores associados no atendimento aos transexuais. Foi evidenciado que o uso de hormônios por transexuais é um tema de interesse tanto social quanto científico e os cuidados que são realizados durante o uso dos hormônios, ainda configura uma temática de pouca abrangência no meio científico. O artigo original objetivou identificar demandas dos requisitos de AC e de déficits nesses AC em transexuais femininas em uso de hormônios sexuais. Por ter sido um estudo exploratório-descritivo de natureza qualitativa, os dados foram produzidos a partir de entrevistas gravadas com o auxílio do roteiro semiestruturado. A amostra foi composta por 10 mulheres transexuais selecionadas pela técnica em cadeia (snowball). A análise foi realizada por meio do Software Interface de R pour les Analyses Multidimensionnelles de Textes et de Questionnaires (IRAMUTEQ) versão 0.7. Os achados foram interpretados de acordo com os construtos de AC e Déficits de Autocuidado (DAC) da Teoria Geral de Orem, no qual foram identificados os requisitos e seus respectivos déficits de AC das categorias geradas pelo software IRAMUTEQ. Os requisitos que mais predominaram nas classes, foram categorizados entre Universais; de Desenvolvimento e de Desvio de Saúde. Foi evidenciado no estudo que o desenvolvimento das práticas de AC e também os déficits gerados são decorrentes das limitações relacionadas com o acesso aos conhecimentos e limitações nas informações recebidas. Ao evidenciar o déficit de conhecimento das transexuais quanto às atitudes e condutas de saúde, nas atividades de vida diária e na realização de esquemas hormonal adequado, identifica-se a necessidade de aprimoramento na formação dos profissionais de saúde, além de aperfeiçoar a equipe de saúde nos diversos níveis de assistência. / In the process of body building, transgender people make use of sex hormones for the purpose of re-fitting the body to the genre of which it feels to belong. The purpose of this dissertation was to analyze the self-care of transsexual women using sex hormones in the light of Orem's General Theory. To support the study, an integrative review was carried out to analyze national and international scientific evidence on the health care of transsexuals using hormones in the LILACS, MEDLINE, BDENF, CINAHL and CUIDEN databases. The analysis of the articles made it possible to identify three thematic categories: the low knowledge of the side effects of hormone use, the empirical use of sex hormones and discrimination and associated factors in the care of transsexuals. It was evidenced that the use of hormones by transsexuals is a subject of both social and scientific interest and the care that is carried out during the use of hormones, still configures a thematic of little scope in the scientific environment. The original article aimed to identify the demands of the AC and the deficits in these CAs in female transsexuals using sex hormones. Because it was an exploratory-descriptive study of a qualitative nature, the data were produced from interviews recorded with the aid of the semi-structured script. The sample consisted of 10 transsexual women selected by the snowball technique. The analysis was carried out through the Software Interface of Multidimensional Analyzes of Textes et de Questionnaires (IRAMUTEQ) version 0.7. The findings were interpreted according to the constructs of AC and Deficits of Self-Care (DAC) of Orem's General Theory, in which the requirements and their respective AC deficits of the categories generated by the IRAMUTEQ software were identified. The requirements that predominated in the classes were categorized as Universal; Development and Health Diversion. It was evidenced in the study that the development of CA practices and also the deficits generated are due to limitations related to access to knowledge and limitations in the information received. By demonstrating the lack of knowledge of transsexuals regarding health attitudes and behaviors, in the activities of daily living and in the implementation of adequate hormonal schemes, the need for improvement in the training of health professionals is identified, as well as to improve the health team Different levels of assistance.
