Previous issue date: 2017-05-18 / Embora a amamentação proporcione benefícios à saúde da criança e da mulher e seu incentivo faça parte de programas governamentais, o Brasil continua com taxas abaixo do recomendado pela Organização Mundial da Saúde e Ministério da Saúde. Para mudança desse cenário, pode-se buscar o apoio da rede social da mulher. Como integrante dessa rede social, o companheiro da mulher tem sido evidenciado como um aliado da amamentação, capaz de influenciar de maneira positiva na adesão e manutenção do aleitamento. Nesse sentido, os profissionais da saúde devem incentivar a participação do pai em atividades educativas desde a gestação. Entre as ferramentas, as tecnologias educacionais podem ser utilizadas nessas atividades. Assim, o objetivo desta dissertação, em formato de artigos, foi elaborar uma história de cordel sobre a participação do pai/companheiro no aleitamento materno fundamentada na escala das práticas paternas de apoio à amamentação. O artigo de revisão integrativa da literatura, visou analisar as tecnologias educacionais direcionadas à promoção do aleitamento materno. A busca contemplou artigos publicados em português, inglês e espanhol, disponíveis nas bases LILACS, MEDLINE, PubMed, SCOPUS, CINAHL, CUIDEN e biblioteca SciELO, utilizando os descritores: aleitamento materno; tecnologia; educação em saúde; materiais de ensino. A amostra final foi composta por 15 artigos. As tecnologias identificadas foram: palestras educativas, aconselhamento, livreto, vídeo, álbum seriado, software, panfletos, folhetos, manual educativo, programa de computador, modelos de mamas, cartazes, cartilha, jogos educativos, cordel cantarolado, sendo estas direcionadas, predominantemente, às mulheres. No artigo metodológico a construção da história de cordel foi alicerçada pela Teoria de Rede Social e seguiu as três primeiras etapas do referencial metodológico de Sombra: leitura prévia sobre a temática a ser abordada, definição da finalidade da história, definição de cada personagem e sua atuação na história. Na sua narrativa foram contempladas as dimensões que compõem a escala das práticas paternas de apoio à amamentação: ajuda concreta, aspectos nutricionais, valorização, atitude proativa, apoio negativo, brevidade. A história apresenta ao pai todos os tipos de apoio que podem ser fornecidos a sua companheira durante a amamentação a fim de que se estabeleça um ambiente acolhedor, seguro e favorável ao sucesso do aleitamento materno. A história elaborada poderá instrumentalizar os pais na corresponsabilização por meio dos apoios presencial, informativo, emocional, instrumental e autoapoio e fortalecer a rede social da mulher no incentivo à prática do aleitamento materno. / Although breastfeeding provides benefits to the health of children and women and government programs have been encouraging it, Brazil has still presented rates below those recommended by the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health. To change this scenario, one can seek support of the woman's social network. As a member of this social network, the woman's partner has been evidenced as an ally of breastfeeding, capable of influencing positively the adherence and maintenance of breastfeeding. In this sense, health professionals should encourage the participation of the father in educational activities since gestation. Among the tools, educational technologies can be used in these activities. Thus, the purpose of this dissertation, in the form of articles, was to elaborate a story in a regional format, named cordel, about the participation of the father/partner in breastfeeding based on the scale of paternal practices in support of breastfeeding. The integrative literature review article aimed to analyze the educational technologies directed to the promotion of breastfeeding. The search included articles published in Portuguese, English and Spanish languages, available in the databases LILACS, MEDLINE, PubMed, SCOPUS, CINAHL, CUIDEN and SciELO library, using the descriptors: breastfeeding; technology; health education; teaching materials. The final sample consisted of 15 articles. The technologies identified were: educational lectures, counseling, booklet, video, serial album, software, pamphlets, leaflets, educational manual, computer program, breast models, posters, guidebook, educational games and cordel stories in song, and these are directed predominantly to women. In the methodological article, the construction of the cordel story was based on Social Network Theory and followed the first three stages of the methodological framework of Sombra: previous reading on the subject to be approached, definition of the purpose of the story, definition of each character and its role in the story. This narrative addressed the dimensions that make up the scale of paternal practices of breastfeeding support: concrete help, nutritional aspects, appreciation, proactive attitude, negative support, brevity. The story presents the father with all the support that can be provided to his partner during breastfeeding in order to establish a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for the success of breastfeeding. The elaborated story may equip fathers in the co-responsibility by means of face-to-face, informative, emotional, instrumental support and self-support and to strengthen the woman’s social network to encourage the practice of breastfeeding.
