This research consists on the taxonomic treatment of the Apocynaceae s.l. from the restingas
of Pará. Results presented consist on the elaboration of descriptions, illustrations and
dycotomic keys of the species occurring within the study area, aiming to make their
identification easier. In addition to that, there are information about geographic distribution,
taxonomic commentary, flowering and fructification period, and species habitat. Apocynaceae
s.l. from the restingas of Pará are represented by twelve species distributed among three
subfamilies, eleven genera and seven tribes, presented here: Allamanda cathartica L.,
Blepharodon pictum (Vahl) W.D. Stevens, Calotropis procera (Aiton) W.T. Aiton, Ditassa
hispida (Vell.) Fontella, Funastrum clausum (Jacq.) Schltr., Himatanthus articulatus (Vahl.)
Woodson, Mandevilla hirsuta (Rich.) K. Schum, Mandevilla scabra (Hoffmanns, ex Roem. &
Schult.) K. Schum., Marsdenia macrophylla (Humb. & Bonpl. ex Schult) E. Fourn.,
Odontadenia nitida (Vahl) Müll. Arg., Rhabdadenia biflora (Jacq.) Müll. Arg., and
Tabernaemontana angulata Mart. ex Müll. Arg. The most representative subfamily with five
species was Asclepideae R. Br. Ex Burnett, followed by Apocynoideae Burnett with four
species and Rauvolfioideae Kostel, with three species. The most representative genus was
Mandevilla Lindl, with two species. Himatanthus articulatus shows the highest number of
samples and Calotropis procera and Allamanda cathartica are invasive species, the former
being exotic and the latter being a new register for the restingas of Pará. The highest number
of species was harvested within formation campo de dunas, followed by formation aberta de
moitas. / Este trabalho consiste no tratamento taxômico das Apocynaceae s.l. das restingas paraenses.
Os resultados apresentados consistem na elaboração de descrições, ilustrações e chaves dicotômicas das espécies ocorrentes na área de estudo, com a finalidade de facilitar a identificação das mesmas. Além disso, são fornecidas informações adicionais sobre distribuição geográfica, comentários taxonômicos, período de floração e frutificação e hábitat das espécies. As Apocynaceae s.l., nas restingas do estado do Pará estão
representadas por 12 espécies distribuídas em 11 gêneros, sete tribos e três subfamílias, apresentadas a seguir: Allamanda cathartica L., Blepharodon pictum (Vahl) W.D. Müll. Arg., Rhabdadenia biflora (Jacq.) Müll. Arg., e Tabernaemontana angulata Mart. ex Müll. Arg. A subfamília mais representativa com cinco espécies foi a Asclepiadoideae R. Br. ex Burnett, seguida da Apocynoideae Burnett, com quatro e Rauvolfioideae Kostel, com três. O gênero mais representativo foi Mandevilla Findl., com duas espécies. Himatanthus articulatus é a espécie que mais se destaca em número de amostras e Calotropis procera e Allamanda cathartica são espécies invasoras, sendo a primeira exótica e a segunda, novo registro para as restingas do estado do Pará. Na formação vegetal Campo de Dunas foi
coletado o maior número de espécies, seguida da Formação aberta de moitas.
