Processo que permitiu o acesso de mulheres à função de agentes da violência legítima do Estado, em um contexto de debate sobre os modelos de policiamento que existiam no país: o policiamento civil e o militar. O recorte temporal baliza o período 1955-1964, abarcando desde o processo de construção dos enunciados fundadores do policiamento de "tipo" feminino; a configuração políticas das polícias paulistas do período pós-guerra e pós-vargas; o processo inicial de recrutamento e a transformação das mulheres em policiais femininas; além do desenvolvimento das atividades da chamada Polícia Feminina no espaço urbano paulistano, até o início dos governos militares, em 1964. A principal questão da pesquisa é sobre a articulação do gênero na trama discursiva que possibilitou o imbricamento entre as concepções "mulher" e "policial", uma vez que eram/são percebidos como culturalmente opostos. O texto enfoca a discussão sobre o processo da criação discursiva do modelo de "Polícia Feminina", abarcando a historicidade e os lugares das falas, o pensamento jurídico-criminológico do período referente às mulheres e presente na formação das polícias, e ainda o contexto político de embate entre as principais polícias paulistas no pós-guerra. Em segundo lugar, o texto se atém na edificação do corpo da policial feminina, feito através da legislação construída e por meio dos processos de recrutamento e dos cursos de formação a elas destinados. O terceiro capítulo é uma reflexão sobre a adaptação, acomodação e confrontação, entre a imagem idealizada da policial e a prática cotidiana na cidade de São Paulo. E, por fim, a partir da figura central da Cmt. Hilda Macedo é discutida a divulgação e o desenrolar das atividades da Polícia Feminina paulista, e a inserção do policiamento feminino, no processo de internacionalização das polícias, próprio ao contexto da Guerra Fria. / The object of this research is the process of the Female Police creation in Sao Paulo in 1955. Process that allowed the access of women to the role of agents of legitimate violence of the state, in a context of a debate about policing models that existed in the country: the civilian police and the military. The time frame marks the period 1955-1964, embracing since the construction process of the founders statements of the feminine policing "type"; the political configurations of the Sao Paulo's police from the post-war and post-Vargas period; and the initial process of recruitment and transformation of women in female police officers; in addition to the activities of the so called Female Police in urban Sao Paulo, until the beginning of military governments in 1964. Thus, were used as sources: Official Diaries, Laws, decree-laws, guidelines, ordinances, the PMESP General Bulletins, official correspondence, photo albums and folders, periodicals and movies, located at the PMESP Museum; on archives of the Senate; in the Public Archives of the State of São Paulo; In the Library of the Brazilian Cinema and in the Police Museum of the Province of Buenos Aires. In addition to these sources, were produced interviews with three men of the paid police reservists and a police woman participant in the "Special Women Police Force", the first of its kind in the country. The main question of this research is about the discursive plot that allowed the overlapping between the conceptions of #woman# and #police#, as it were/are perceived as cultural opposites. Thus, the text focuses first on the discussion about the process of the discursive creation of the model of "Female Police", embracing the historicity and places of speeches, the legal and criminological thought of the period concerning women and present on the police formation, and also the political context of the collision between police in Sao Paulo after the war. In second place, is focused the building of the body of the female officer inside the police force, made through a built legislation and by the procedures for recruitment and training courses for them. The third chapter is a reflection about the adaptation, accommodation and confrontation between police and the idealized image of daily practice. And finally, from the central figure of the Commander Hilda Macedo was discussed the propagation and the unroll of the activities of the Police Women of Sao Paulo, and the inclusion of women officers in the process of internationalization of the police itself to the context of the Cold War.
