Previous issue date: 2014 / Esta dissertação é uma etnografia das práticas mediúnicas de um pequeno grupo religioso praticante de almas e angola  religiosidade afro-brasileira bastante difundida na Grande Florianópolis. O trabalho  maneira pela qual chamam suas práticas  desse coletivo (formado por médiuns, orixás e outros entes espirituais) ultrapassa o espaço dos terreiros e os rituais formalmente demarcados, adentrando o cotidiano dos médiuns de incorporação, ogãs e cambones. O tema principal da dissertação é a relação entre o 'povo de cá' e 'o povo de lá', e o objetivo é demonstrar que o mundo, ou tudo que nele existe, é trabalhável por esses sujeitos  incluindo, então, os sujeitos eles mesmos. A tarefa dos médiuns, de trabalharem a si mesmos com o intuito de evoluir espiritualmente, está predicada em uma noção de pessoa não-acabada e constituída, desde já  'desde nascença', como dizem  por vários outros sujeitos. Nas (des-/re-)combinações da coletividade espiritual constitucional da subjetividade de cada um, os/as médiuns empreendem conhecer o(s) outro(s) que nele/a habita(m), na busca de (re-)conhecerem e trabalharem o que denominam de eu. A dissertação persegue o trabalhar no santo descrevendo suas operações e mantendo um diálogo com outras etnografias, dando ênfase aos (parcos) trabalhos acadêmicos sobre almas e angola; o transe, os rituais, as mediunidades, as pessoas do povo-de-santo e as concepções em torno do sujeito médium são, assim, questões presentes neste trabalho.<br> / Abstract : This dissertation is an ethnography of the mediumistic practices of a small religious group practicing almas e angola (literally, souls and angola) - a form of Afro-Brazilian religion widespread in the greater Florianpolis region. The work - as they call their practices - of this collective (formed by mediums, orixás and other spiritual beings) exceeds the physical boundaries of the terreiros (religious houses) and its formal rituals, entering the everyday life of mediums who incorporate spirits, ogãs (drummers) and cambones (non-incorporating mediums). The main theme of this dissertation is the relationship between the povo de cá and the povo de lá (people from here and people from there, respectively), and the objective is to demonstrate that the world, or anything it encompasses, is workable by these subjects - including, therefore, the subjects themselves. The task of the mediums, of working on themselves with the intent of spiritual evolution, is predicated on a notion of a person unfinished and already comprised - from birth, as they say - of several other subjects. In these (dis/re)arrangements of the spiritual collective that constitutes the subjectivity of every one, mediums engage in a process of knowing the other(s) that inhabit them, aiming to (re)cognize and work on that which they name the self. The dissertation pursues the trabalhar no santo (these religious practices) by describing its mechanics, and maintaining a dialogue with other ethnographies, emphasizing some of the few academic works about almas e angola - thus the trance, rituals, mediumships, members of the povo de santo (people of the saint; participants) and the conceptions around the subject-medium are some of the questions present in this work.
