Previous issue date: 2017 / Este trabalho tem como o objetivo explicitar de que modo as teses de Verdade e método, publicado por Hans-Georg Gadamer em 1960, oferecem uma reconstrução da noção tradicional de racionalidade. Para mostrar isso, iniciaremos apresentando o cerne da ontologização gadameriana da hermenêutica: as condições pré-reflexivas da compreensão (linguisticidade e historicidade). Depois, no segundo capítulo, discutiremos as dificuldades, aventadas por inúmeros intérpretes, que esses dois princípios hermenêuticos colocam ante a pergunta acerca da racionalidade, confrontando a hermenêutica filosófica com a ideia moderna de razão e com a filosofia de Heidegger. Finalmente, dissolvendo os conflitos oriundos da ontologização da hermenêutica operada por Gadamer, apresentaremos como se insinua, a partir do conceito de consciência histórico-efeitual e da aplicação e do diálogo que essa consciência põe em movimento, a contribuição gadameriana ao problema geral da racionalidade.<br> / Abstract : This work aims to explain how the theses of Hans-Georg Gadamer?s Truth and Method offer a reconstruction of the traditional notion of rationality. To show this, we will present the core of the gadamerian ontologization of the hermeneutics: the pre-reflective conditions of understanding (linguisticality and historicity). Then, in the second chapter, we will discuss the difficulties, posed by innumerable interpreters, that arise from these two hermeneutical principles against the question about rationality, confronting philosophical hermeneutics with the modern idea of reason and the philosophy of Heidegger. Finally, dissolving the conflicts arising from the ontologization of the hermeneutics operated by Gadamer, we will present how emerge, from the concepts of historical-effective consciousness, and from the application and the dialogue that it sets in motion, the gadamerian contribution to the general problem of rationality.
