Esta condição dificulta até hoje a incorporação de processos de gestão participativa dessas Unidades. Tanto no nível mundial quanto local, as mais recentes pesquisas de ordem teórica e metodológica apontam a necessidade da incorporação das comunidades humanas neste tipo de processos. Evidencia-se o surgimento de uma nova perspectiva não dualista do comportamento do homem na Terra. Com esse panorama, o presente estudo se propõe avaliar o estado do relacionamento entre a Estação Ecológica Carijós e as comunidades do entorno, através de um processo de acompanhamento dos espaços de participação comunitária e da medida objetiva do afastamento entre o olhar dos técnicos que promovem melhoria nas condições para viver e aquele dos moradores do entorno, que vivem tais condições. Para isso, é caracterizado o sistema de interesse ESEC Carijós-entorno e aplicado o indicador IQCV/IQV, visando contribuir na definição de ações como subsídio para o monitoramento da implementação do Plano de Manejo e a gestão participativa. Os resultados mostram que o processo se encontra ainda incipiente, mas que há boas possibilidades mediante a inserção da ESEC nos espaços de participação comunitária, como os fóruns das bacias hidrográficas, a continuidade e ampliação do programa de educação ambiental, e do fortalecimento do espaço por lei estabelecido, como é o Conselho Consultivo da UC. Concluímos, todavia, que o principal produto foi pontificar a necessidade de se esclarecer a fundamentação conceitual, tanto entre técnicos quanto entre outros atores sociais, para daí desenvolver acertadas ações de gestão em relação ao contexto local.
The strategy for the protection of biodiversity through the deployment of units of Conservation inherited from the traditional scientific paradigm rooted separation of man and nature. This condition hampers the incorporation of these processes of participative management units. Both in global and local, the latest research of a theoretical and methodological point to the need for the incorporation of the human communities in this type of case. There is the emergence of a new non-dualistic view of the behaviour of man on earth. With this background, this study proposes to evaluate the state of the relationship between the Ecological Station Carijós and the communities around, through a process of monitoring the spaces of community participation and the objective measurement of the distance between the point of view of the technicians that promote improvement the conditions to live and the view of the residents of the surrounding area, such living that conditions. For it is characterized the system of interest ESEC-Carijós entorno and applied the indicator IQCV / IQV, seeking help in the definition of shares as allowance for the monitoring of the implementation of the Plan of Management and participatory management. The results show that the process is still nascent, but there are good opportunities through the integration of the ESEC in spaces of community participation, as the forums of watersheds, the continuation and expansion of the program of environmental education, and the strengthening of the area by law established, as is the Advisory Board of UC. We conclude, however, that the main product pontificate was the need to clarify the conceptual basis, as much as between technicians among other social actors, to develop there right actions of management in relation to the local context.
