Nosso objetivo foi investigar a história da constituição e expansão deste grupo de profissionais, atualmente numeroso e pedagogicamente expressivo na RMEI. Partimos do pressuposto de que o trabalho que realizam se inscreve no âmbito da docência na Educação Infantil, apesar de não serem consideradas professoras, mas #auxiliares de sala#. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida a partir dos seguintes procedimentos: a) revisão da literatura sobre o tema; b) análise de diversos tipos de fontes documentais; c) entrevistas com um grupo de profissionais intencionalmente selecionadas. Como referencial teórico, usamos as contribuições de autores como Saviani (1991, 2008), Apple (1995, 1991), Hypólito (1991, 1997), Enguita (1991), que nos auxiliaram tanto na compreensão da natureza do trabalho docente, como das novas formas de sua organização, em especial dos processos de intensificação e precarização decorrentes das reformas educacionais dos anos 1990, dentre outros aspectos. Tardif e Lessard (2005) complementam as discussões realizadas pelos autores acima, destacando a importância de
analisar a docência levando em conta que o objeto de trabalho do professor é outro ser humano, com o qual é estabelecido algum tipo de relação. Eles destacam fundamentalmente o caráter interativo do trabalho docente. Os resultados de nossa pesquisa apontam para a ambivalência desse trabalho na rede municipal de ensino de Florianópolis, pois, embora exerçam atividades de docência, não são vinculados ao Quadro do Magistério, mas ao Quadro da Carreira Civil. Esta situação funcional se reflete em termos de carreira, salários e outros benefícios sociais, significativamente distintos daqueles dos que se beneficiam os professores. Assim, estes profissionais, embora exercendo atividades similares às dos professores, são os mais atingidos pelos atuais processos de desvalorização, precarização e intensificação do trabalho. Ao longo da pesquisa, tivemos a oportunidade de conhecer as lutas sindicais deste grupo profissional, graças às quais foram obtidas algumas conquistas ao longo dos últimos anos. Uma destas é o direito à formação, tanto inicial como continuada, referenciada pelos auxiliares de sala como sinal distintivo e que, ao menos simbolicamente, os iguala aos professores. / This research aims at teaching the Education of The Child, dealing more specifically with the classroom assistants who work in the Municipal Education of the Florianopolis Children's. Our objective was to investigate the history records of the estuary is the expansion of this group of professionals, currently at large and educationally significant RMEI. We assumed that their work falls scope of the Education of the Child, although they are not considered teachers, but "auxiliary room#. They primarily emphasize an interest characteristic in teaching. The results of our research indicate the ambival of this work in the municipal school of Florianópolis, because, although exercising scholar activities, they are not linked to the framework of the Teachers, but on the Table of Career Civil. This situation reflects the functional in terms of career, salarys and other social benefits, significantly different from those who benefit the teachers. Thus, these professionals, although exercising similar activities as teacher, they are the most affected by current processes of devaluation, precarious and intensifing work.
