2012_RosanaCristinaChenkAllatta.pdf: 1005988 bytes, checksum: bb9f5ef9e5679395a436d18712a8d108 (MD5) / Esta pesquisa tentou identificar, por meio dos relatos enunciados, o saber constituído e construído por pacientes diabéticos tipo 1 na relação com a doença. As narrativas em torno da experiência com a própria condição de saúde foram registradas para demonstração da competência funcional no manejo com o diabetes. Nesse sentido, a adesão em saúde foi buscada. Foram doze sujeitos com idades entre 20 e 52 anos, em estudo de casos múltiplos. As entrevistas foram realizadas com pacientes atendidos em Salvador/BA e em Brasília/DF, gravadas e transcritas de forma a contemplar o que surgisse no discurso, em livre associação, a partir de entrevistas semiestruturadas. A análise dos dados gerou quatro categorias: a representação da doença; o cotidiano com a doença; a relação com o outro e os planos para o futuro. As três primeiras gestaram, cada uma, dois subgrupos de análise: a representação da doença hoje e no momento do diagnóstico; as dificuldades enfrentadas e as competências desenvolvidas no cotidiano com a doença; a importância da rede social e das figuras de destaque na relação com o outro. Os resultados apontaram a importância de, cada vez mais, incluir o saber do paciente em programas de educação em saúde, nos casos de diabetes mellitus e registram a necessidade de mais pesquisas para identificar as formas de adesão que tem sido seguidas por pacientes que têm, competentemente, administrado seu próprio diabetes. _________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This research tried to identify, through enunciated stories, the everyday knowledge built by type 1 diabetic patients in the relation with the disease. The narratives around the experience with their proper condition of health were registered for demonstration of the functional ability when handling with diabetes. In this direction, the level of compliance in health was searched. There were twelve interviewed patients, with ages between 20 and 52 years old, in a study of multiple cases. The interviews were carried through with patients taken care of in Salvador/BA and Brasília/DF, recorded and transcribed taking into consideration what appeared in the discourse of the patients, in free association, from the semi-structuralized interviews. The analysis of the data generated four categories: the representation of the disease; the daily routine with it; the relation with other people and their plans for the future. The three first categories created, each one, two sub-groups of analysis: the representation of diabetes today and at the moment of the diagnosis; the barriers and difficulties faced by them, besides the abilities developed in their daily lives; the importance of the social net and the figures of prominence in the relation with others were, also, observed. The results pointed out the importance of including the knowledge the patient has in programs of education in health, in the cases of diabetes mellitus. This study registers, as well, the need of more research to identify the different forms of compliance that have been followed by the patients who have, competently and adequately, managed with their own diabetes.
