Pretende-se, com essa análise, não apenas apontar as definições de alma que o filósofo apresenta em cada uma dessas obras, mas principalmente estabelecer relações entre os textos, a fim de perceber se há mudanças na noção de alma em Platão ao longo de sua produção. Nesse sentido, no primeiro capítulo desta dissertação, analisa-se questões introdutórias importantes para o estudo dos diálogos, a respeito da cronologia dos mesmos e de influências que a tradição órfica e Homero exerceram na obra platônica. É no segundo capítulo que tem início o exame dos diálogos mesmos, incialmente pelo Fédon, que apresenta uma noção de alma muito ligada a concepções socráticas e a tradições anteriores a Platão. No terceiro capítulo, analisa-se a célebre tese da tripartição da alma, a partir da República e do Fedro, destacando as diferenças existentes entre os diálogos. O quarto e último capítulo é dedicado ao estudo das Leis, do Timeu e de um trecho diferente do Fedro, visando expor a tese da alma como princípio de todo movimento, bem como a noção da alma do mundo, não mencionadas nas obras anteriormente estudadas. Após analisar os referidos diálogos, relaciona-se todos eles, considerando o tema da alma, a fim de responder ao questionamento inicial, a saber, se é possível defender uma noção unívoca de alma em Platão. / The present work intends to investigate the notion of soul (ψυχή) in Plato, from different dialogues in which this concept appears, especially the Phaedo, the Republic, the Phaedrus, the Laws and the Timaeus. It is intended, with this analysis, not only to point out the definitions of soul that the philosopher presents in each of these works, but mainly to establish relations between the texts, in order to realize if there are changes in the notion of soul in Plato throughout his production. In this sense, in the first chapter of this dissertation, important introductory questions are analyzed for the study of the dialogues, their chronology and the influences that the Orphic tradition and Homer exercised in the Platonic work. It is in the second chapter that begins the examination of the dialogues, initially by the Phaedo, which presents a notion of soul closely linked to Socratic conceptions and traditions prior to Plato. In the third chapter, we analyze the famous thesis of the tripartition of the soul, from the Republic and the Phaedrus, highlighting the differences between the dialogues. The fourth and last chapter is dedicated to the study of the Laws, the Timaeus, and of a different passage of the Phaedrus, in order to expose the thesis of the soul as the principle of all movement, as well as the notion of the soul of the world, not mentioned in the works previously studied. After analyzing these dialogues, they are all related, considering the theme of the soul, in order to answer the initial questioning, namely, if it is possible to defend a univocal notion of soul in Plato.
