2010_MariadoSocorroEchalarMartins.pdf: 634487 bytes, checksum: 0e8f7b533836680f2d3a917ca673cc4a (MD5) / O presente estudo investigou a eficiência da estabilometria e baropodometria estática na avaliação do equilíbrio em sujeitos normais e vestibulopatas. Participaram do estudo 52 voluntários ( 26 homens e 26 mulheres), com média de idade de 50±10 anos, IMC abaixo de 25 kg/m2, sem distúrbios osteoarticular, sensório-motor e deficiência visual. Após diagnóstico de vestibulopatia pela vecto-eletronistagmografia (VENG), os sujeitos foram divididos em dois grupos: 26 voluntários sadios (GS) e 26 voluntários vestibulopatas (GV). O exame de estabilometria com olhos abertos e fechados e a baropodometria estática foi realizado durante 1 minuto em repouso e na posição ortoestática. Na estabilometria, a velocidade média de oscilação em milímetros por segundos (mm/s), deslocamento Antero/Posterior (A/P) em mm/s e o deslocamento Latero-Lateral (L/L) em mm/s, com olhos fechados, apresentou diferença estatística significante, p<0,05, entre os grupos. A descarga de peso e distribuição de carga, na baropodometria estática, não apresentou diferença estatística com relação à base de apoio. Estes resultados sugerem que a estabilometria e a baropodometria estática foram eficientes na avaliação de pacientes vestibulopatas identificando diferenças no equilíbrio estático, deslocamento A/P e L/L, com a mesma descarga e distribuição de peso na base de apoio. _______________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The present study evaluated the estabilometry and static baropodometry efficiency in the balance evaluation in volunteers with and without vestibular disorders. Fifty two volunteers,26 men and 26 women, mean age 50±10 years old, BMI below 25 kg/m2, without ostheoarticular, sensorial and motor disturbances and without visual deficiency participade of this study. The volunteers were divided in two groups after vestibulophaty diagnosis for the vecto-electronystagmography (VENG): group GS comprising 26 health volunteers (without vestibular disorders) and the group GV comprizing 26 subjects with vestibular disorders. The stabilometric exam with opened and closed eyes and the baropodometric static exam were realized during one minute in rest in the orthostatic position. In the estabilometry, the mean speed of oscillation in millimeters per seconds (mm / s), displacement Antero/Porterior (A/P) in mm/ s and the Latero-lateral (L/L) displacement in mm/s with closed eyes presented significant statistical difference (p<0,05) among the groups. The weight discharge and load distribution in the static baropodometry did not show significant statistical difference regarding the support base. These results indicate that the stabilometry and static baropodometry tests were eficcients in the evaluation of the volunteers with vestibular disorders and the tests identified differences in the static balance, displacement A/P and L/L with the same discharge and weight distribution in the support base.
