2011_CarlaCamuso.pdf: 2409345 bytes, checksum: cf3afe82ada55a3fae57deb185de29c2 (MD5) / A população indígena está sendo paulatinamente inserida no processo educacional visando a formação de profissionais índios que buscam melhoria de qualidade de vida, já que podem atuar em suas próprias comunidades ou galgar melhores posições na sociedade. Nesse movimento, percebe-se que essa inserção projeta, amiúde, o sentido assimilacionista, rejeições culturais mútuas, casos de desistências, repetências e jubilamentos. A presente dissertação busca, portanto, delinear o perfil dos indígenas presentes na rede de Educação Profissional e Tecnológica, especificamente no Instituto Federal da Bahia – Campus Porto Seguro. O estudo permite identificá-los de forma ampla enquanto indígenas do nordeste, e mais especificamente enquanto povo Pataxó, habitante da região Extremo Sul da Bahia. Em um segundo momento é analisado os aspectos dessa inserção mediante as características do estudante indígena e a execução da ação afirmativa. O estudo teve como base, a priori, uma análise abrangente da situação do aluno no sistema educacional indígena e regional se contrapondo ao processo de ingresso e permanência desses indivíduos numa Instituição de Ensino Técnico Profissionalizante. Ao final do trabalho, o que denominou-se ―aldeamento intelectual‖ é entendido em dois sentidos distintos: o aldeamento intelectual dos não índios que pensam em políticas públicas para indígenas dentro de seus gabinetes, escutando seus próprios pensamentos, objetivando a perpetuação no poder ao lançar ações chamadas ―afirmativas‖ como o ideal de salvação das minorias. E o aldeamento intelectual dos índios nas perspectivas técnicas e tecnológicas, uma aldeia isolada de métodos, fórmulas, regras, onde a sua definição de raça significa preenchimento de dados estatísticos, não correspondendo às especificidades embutidas em sua cultura. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The indigenous population has been inserted in the educational process randomly, aiming the formation of the professional indians that search for improving quality of life, since they can act in their own communities or run for better positions in the society. In this movement, it‘s realized that such insertion projects, in a detailed way, the assimilation sense, reciprocal cultural rejections, cases of giving ups, repetitive fails and ―jubilamentos‖. The present dissertation, therefore, tries to delineate the profile of the Indians present at the Professional and Technological Net, specifically at Institute Federal da Bahia, campus Porto Seguro. The study allows the identification of these profiles in a wide way while indigenous people from the Northeast, and more specifically as a Pataxó community, inhabitant of the extreme south region of Bahia. In a second moment, it‘s analyzed the aspects of these inclusions through the features of the indigenous student and the execution of an affirmative action. The study had as a base, firstly, a wide analysis of the student‘s situation in the indigenous and regional educational system, contrasting to the process of access and maintenance of these individuals in an Institution of Technician and Professionalizing Teaching. At the end of this study, what was called "Intellectual Village" can be understood in two different ways: ―Intellectual Village‖ of non-Indians, that thinks about public policies for indigenous inside their cabinet, listening to their own thinking, aiming at the perpetuation in power, by launching of actions called ―affirmatives‖ with intended to ―save‖ minorities. And the Intellectual village of Indians, from the techniques perspectives and technological, an isolated village of methods, formulas, rules, where its definition of race only means fulfillment of statistical data and not correspond to the specificities inherent into their culture.
