Previous issue date: 2017-04-03 / Neste trabalho, estudamos o processo de desenvolvimento dos conceitos científicos na cognição da criança que se encontra no período escolar que corresponde aos Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental – 1º ao 5º ano – à luz da teoria epistemológica de Lev Semenovitch Vigotski. Discutimos a relação preponderante entre o desenvolvimento cognitivo infantil e a formação do pedagogo para o Ensino de Ciências nos Anos Iniciais. Em suma, na dimensão documental, nos debruçamos sobre os principais textos de Vigotski a fim de analisarmos como se dá o processo de aquisição do conhecimento cientifico pelo sujeito e, a partir disso, traçar um paralelo com a formação do professor responsável pelo Ensino de Ciências na faixa etária: o pedagogo. Para fundamentar nossa pesquisa teórica, elaboramos uma investigação qualitativa, na qual analisamos as grades curriculares de três cursos de Licenciatura Plena em Pedagogia, buscando parâmetros para embasarmos nossa avaliação sobre a formação desse docente para compreender o ‘funcionamento’ da mente da criança no e para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem de Ciências. A fundamentação teórica somada à coleta de dados nos apresentou importantes quadros para a problematização da questão central deste trabalho acerca da capacidade plena do pedagogo para ensinar Ciências, tendo em vista que nos Anos Iniciais está o mais básico estágio de conteúdos curriculares em Ciências. / In this work, we study the process of development of scientific concepts in the cognition of the child that is in the school period that corresponds to the Initial Years of Elementary School - 1st to 5th year - in light of the epistemological theory of Lev Semenovitch Vygotsky. We discuss the preponderant relationship between child cognitive development and teacher education for Early Childhood Science Teaching. In short, in the documentary dimension, we focus on the main texts of Vygotsky in order to analyze how the process of acquisition of scientific knowledge by the subject occurs and, from that, draw a parallel with the formation of the teacher responsible for Science Teaching In the age group: the pedagogue. In order to base our theoretical research, we have elaborated a qualitative research, in which we analyze the curricular grades of three Full Degree courses in Pedagogy, looking for parameters to base our evaluation on the formation of this teacher to understand the 'functioning' of the mind of the child in and for The process of teaching and learning science. Theoretical basis added to the data collection presented us important tables for the problematization of the central question of this work about the full capacity of the pedagogue to teach Sciences, considering that in the Initial Years is the most basic stage of curricular contents in Sciences.
