Previous issue date: 1990 / Resumo: Este estudo consiste em uma investigação sobre o fenômeno da submissão da mulher a situações crônicas de violência doméstica. O campo de pesquisa constituiu-se na clientela do sos/Ação-Mulher, entidade feminista voltada ao combate da violência contra a mulher. Para os fins deste estudo considerou-se como violência agressões físicas ou psicológicas, bastando que efetuada pelo companheiro/marido da vitima (ou seja, quem a mesma cultivasse vínculos afetivo/sexuais) e tenha sido e alguém com se configura-se um quadro de impotência, sem que a mulher conseguisse fazer na da para sair da situação em que se encontrava, resultando com isso um longo tempo de convivência com o problema. O foco da pesquisadora está em compreender os dinamismos psicológicos inconscientes, mais especificamente os de ordem afetivo-emocional, que mantêm estas mulheres em entraves situações de violência. Por isso, a teoria psicanalítica serviu como referencial adequado, ten do especificamente na teoria dos instintos sua maior contribuição para este estudo, visto que o tema da violência consiste em uma manifestação explicita de descarga instintiva, e a sujeição à mesma foi compreendida pela pesquisadora como uma projeção do instinto de morte. Estudos de casos foi a estratégia que possibilitou cumprir e investigar as especificações acima referidas. Sete foram selecionados e submetidos à aplicação da entrevista e casos dos testes projetivos gráficos, os quais foram adaptados de acordo com o procedimento de desenhos-estória. Foi solicitado do sujeito a realização de quatro desenhos: uma figura humana, o teste das duas pessoas, uma cena doméstica e um desenho livre. Os resultados obtidos demonstraram a ação conjugada dos instintos de vida e de morte na vida destas mulheres, seu estado de insegurança interna e carência generalizada, sua condição de maturidade psicológica e de dependência do companheiro, o papel determinista das experiências de abandono e rejeição vividos tenra idade, a condição de animosidade sob a qual é vivenciada na relação conjugal, a censura ao prazer e à própria sexualidade, e ainda, o caráter eminentemente masoquista sob o qual sua vida afetivo/sexual. Estes são os aspectos de maior relevância no funcionamento psíquico destas mulheres e estão de tal vivenciam encontrados maneira arraigados que apontam para traços arcaicos, herança indelével da maldição milenar que pesa sobre a mulher, e que soterrou quase irremediavelmente seu passado glorioso. são pistas que se oferecem para estudos posteriores / Abstract: The present work consists of an investigation of the phenomenon of woman's submission to situations of domestic violence. The research utilized the clientele of "SOS/Ação-Mulher", a feminist entity devoted to fighting the violence against women. For the purpose of this study, it has been considered as violence any physical or psychological aggression instigated by the tim's partner or husband (that is, someone with whom the vicvictim had sexual or affective bonds), resulting in a situation of impotence, being that the victim was unable to alter the situation she was in, thus resulting in a long intimacy with the problem. The researcher's center of interest is to understand the unconscious psychological dynamics - more specifically, the affective-emotional obstacles that maintain these women in situations of violence. For this reason, the basis of reference the psycho-analytical theory, being its major contribution was to this work its theory of instincts, for the subject of violence consists of an explicit display of instinctive discharge, and the submission to this was understood by the researcher as a projection of the death instinct. The study of case histories was the strategy which made it possible to carry out and investigate the above specifications. Seven case histories were selected and the subjects were submitted to interviews and graphic projective tests, which were adapted in accordance with the procedure of picture-stories. The subject was asked to draw four pictures: one human figure, the two persons' test, a domestic scene, and a free drawing. The results obtained showed the combined action of both life and death instincts on the lives of these women; their state of inner insecurity and generalized deprivation; their condition of psychological immaturity and dependence upon their partners; the deterministic role of the experiences of and rejection suffered when they were very young; the abandonment existence of ill will within the matrimonial relationship; the censorship of pleasure and of their own sexuality and, furthermore, the highly masochistic nature under which they experience their affective and sexual life. These are the most significant aspects found in the psychic functioning of these women, and they are so deep-rooted that they reflect primitive traces, an indelible inheritance of the ml lenary curse hanging upon woman, and which have almost irremediably buried her glorious past.
