Previous issue date: 2011 / Resumo: O objetivo deste trabalho é pensar a relação entre moralidade e história, especificamente no texto Idéia de uma história universal de um ponto de vista Cosmopolita (IaG). Neste sentido, o trabalho é composto de duas partes, cada uma contendo dois capítulos, nos quais se discutirá respectivamente: o status epistemológico da IaG, argumentando-se a favor de que a concepção de progresso histórico presente na obra seja concebida como um princípio regulativo (capítulo 1); que tal concepção vincula-se à questão da exequibilidade das regras práticas, isto é, defender-se-á que devemos conceber, a IaG, no contexto do problema da possibilidade e efetividade das proposições práticas, mostrando que Kant procura, durante parte da década de 80, mostrar que os conceitos e princípios práticos da razão não são quiméricos, mediante a vinculação dos mesmos com princípios regulativos (capítulo 2); o conceito de progresso histórico presente na IaG, com ênfase na relação entre progresso da cultura e progresso moral, bem como no papel do antagonismo na realização de ambos, mostrando que podemos pensar, em certo sentido, a concepção de história da IaG, também como uma concepção moral da história, e não somente como história natural política, tendo a Natureza/Providência evocada por Kant um papel limitado (capítulo 3); por último trataremos a relação entre progresso moral e progresso político argumentando que o segundo é condição do primeiro, visto que apenas dentro de um Estado que evite a guerra tanto interna como externa, e que garanta a maior liberdade possível é que se pode esperar que o gênero humano como um todo melhore moralmente (capítulo 4) / Abstract: The aim of this work is to think the relationship between morality and history, specifically in the text Idea for a universal history from a Cosmopolitan point of view (IaG). In this sense, the work consists of two parts, each containing two chapters, in which we will discuss, respectively: the epistemological status of IaG, arguing in favor of the conception of historical progress in this work is conceived as a regulative principle (Chapter 1); that this conception is linked to the question of the feasibility of practical rules, that is, arguing it will be that we should conceive of the IaG, in the context of the problem of the possibility and effectiveness of practical propositions, showing that Kant seeks, during part of the 80, to show that the concepts and practical principles of reason are not chimerical, by linking the same with regulative principles (Chapter 2); the concept of historical progress in this IaG, with emphasis on the relationship between progress of culture and moral progress, and the role of antagonism in the realization of both, showing that we can think, the conception of the history of IaG, as a moral conception of history and not only as a political natural history, with the Nature/Providence raised by Kant a limited role (Chapter 3); and finally, will treat the relationship between moral progress and political progress, arguing that the second is the condition from the first, since only within a state that can to avoid the war both internally and externally, and ensuring the greatest possible freedom is to be expected that the whole human race as a morally better (Chapter 4) / Mestrado / Filosofia / Mestre em Filosofia
