Previous issue date: 2003 / Resumo: Tendo como referência as obras de Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (1844-1900), particularmente seus primeiros escritos, aqueles situados anteriormente à obra Humano, Demasiado Humano, o presente estudo busca mostrar a peculiaridade da concepção nietzscheana de arte e ciência, apontando, complementarmente ao fato de que, nestes escritos, a oscilação entre Apolo e Dionísio torna-se o ¿móvel¿ da teoria neiztscheana da cultura. Assim, é o vínculo inquebrantável, embora problemático, tenso, entre a arte, a ciência e a cultura que busca ser realçado por meio da apresentação das motivações, dos problemas suscitados e das soluções propostas. A fim de permanecer fiel a oscilação que permeia o texto neitzscheano, buscou-se manter, tanto no plano temático quanto estilístico, aquela disposição, pois o movimento que vai de Apolo a Dionísio como aquele da arte à ciência é a marca registrada dos primeiros escritos. Portanto, partindo daquela ¿oscilação fundamental¿, a motivação foi preservá-la, mostrando seus componentes, suas motivações, enfim, aproximando-se o mais possível do nó que em que se encontram amarrados, por força do destino, como que num turbilhão, arte, ciência, cultura / Abstract: Based on the works by Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (1844 ¿ 1900), specially his first writings situated before the work Human, All Too Human, this study intends to show the peculiarity of the Nietzschean concepts, of art and science, pointing out that, in these writings, the oscillation between Apollo and Dionysus becomes the ¿cause¿ of the Nietzschean theory of culture. So, it is the unbreakable bond, although problematic and tense, between art, science, and culture, that intends to be emphasized through the presentation of the motivations, the problems raised and the solution proposed. In order to remain faithful to the oscillation that permeates the Nietzschean text, that arrangement was kept not only in the thematic but also in the stylistic plan, since the movement ranges from Apollo to Dionysus, such as that from art to science, is the trademark of his first writings. Therefore, based on that ¿fundamental oscillation¿, the motivation was to preserve it, showing its components, its motivation; in short, getting as close as possible to the knot in witch they are tied, due to the power of destiny as in a whirl, art, science and culture / Mestrado
