Previous issue date: 2007 / Resumo: A Odontologia do trabalho é uma nova especialidade da Odontologia. Esta foi criada por meio da Resolução 22/2001 do CFO e as atribuições inerentes à esta especialidade foram criadas por meio da Resolução 25/2002 do CFO. Desde a sua criação até a presente data, a classe odontológica tem apresentado um certo grau de desconhecimento de qual seria a real atribuição de um especialista formado nesta área. Observa-se que há cursos já criados visando a formação destes profissionais, porém há pouca procura pelos mesmos e este desinteresse ocorre exatamente pelos motivos já elencados. Em vista destes fatos, o presente estudo visará quantificar o grau de conhecimento do CD da região de Ji-Paraná-RO, sobre a Odontologia do Trabalho; quantificar o grau de conhecimento do CD da região de Ji-Paraná-RO sobre as atribuições do Odontologo do Trabalho e quantificar o grau de conhecimento do CD da região de Ji-Paraná-RO sobre os aspectos éticos e legais pertinentes a estas atribuições. Para tanto foi confeccionado questionários com questões estruturadas e abertas visando obter respostas aos questionamentos propostos. Os questionários juntamente com duas cópias do TCLE foram entregues pessoalmente e procedeu-se a coleta após uma semana. Após a análise estatística dos dados obtidos verificou-se que o CD pesquisado da região de Ji-Paraná ?RO apresenta conhecimento deficitário sobre Odontologia do Trabalho; o CD pesquisado da região de Ji-Paraná-RO apresenta conhecimento insuficiente sobre quais são as atribuições do Especialista em Odontologia do Trabalho; o CD pesquisado da região de Ji-Paraná-RO não sabe quais são as repercussões éticas, legais e trabalhistas, inerentes às atribuições do Especialista em Odontologia do Trabalho e que o desconhecimento por parte do CD que trabalha diariamente em consultório público e/ou particular sobre a Odontologia do Trabalho traz a possibilidade de realização de diagnósticos errôneos ou incompletos, pois deixa de contemplar em sua anamnese questões relativas à doenças e ou contaminações que podem ter se iniciado no ambiente laboral. Deve-se também apontar como exemplo também, que o desconhecimento da área pode fazer com que o CD clínico passe a ingressar na área da odontologia do Trabalho, fazendo atestados de saúde odontológico com fins de admissão e ou demissão ao trabalho, sem contudo vislumbrar e dimensionar as conseqüências trabalhistas e civis de tais atos, dentre tantos outras situações / Abstract: The Work of the Dentistry is a new specialty of the Dentistry .These was idealize through of the Resolution 22/ 2001 of the C.F.O.(Counsel Federal of the Dentistry ) and the atribuition inherent to these specially get idealize through of the Resolution 25/2002 of the C.F.O. Since the its idealize untill the present data the odontological class have to show a high index of the disown of the what was the reality attribution of the specialist formed in the area . There is remark that exist courses idealize where there is visualition the formation these profissional , however there is little seek for the same and these disinterest occur accurated for the motive already cited. However the present study aim quantize the degree of the knowledge of the Dental Surgeon of the region of the Ji-Paraná-RO, about the work of the Dentistry, and quantize the degree of the knowledge of Dental Surgeon of the Ji-Paraná-RO about the ethical and legal aspect pertinent to these attribution.Thus was to prepare questinary with structural and open questions where to aim obtaim answer by the proposed questinable. The questions united with two copy of the T.C.L.E (Term of the Free Consent) were delivered personally and proceed the collection after a week. After the statistics analysis of the data obtained examined that the reserch Dental Surgeon of the region of the Ji- Paraná-RO to show insufficient knowledge about which is the attribution of the Specialist in work of the Dentistry. The Dental Surgeon of the region of the Ji- Paraná-RO does not know which is the rebound ethical, legal and of the work, inherent the attribution of the Specialist in the Work Dentistry and that the ignorance by the Dental Surgeon that work everyday in public and or private consulting room about the Work of the Dentistry to bring the possible of realization of the erroneous and incomplete diagnosis, where left of the contemplate in your evalution answers relative to disease and or contamination that can have started in the laboratory ambient. The Dental Surgeon made all appoint how example too, that the ignorance of the area can do with that the clinical Dental Surgeon pass the to enter in the area the Work of the Dentistry, made healthy certified odontological to admission and or dismissal by the work without although to catch and to calculate the dimension the consequence labourite and civil of the action, among as much others situation / Mestrado / Mestre em Odontologia Legal e Deontologia
