Previous issue date: 2017-08-04 / This study seeks to understand social business models from the logic of creation, configuration and sharing of social value. Through qualitative research with managers from three social organizations and four partners, analyzes and interpretations related to the design of the business model of these organizations were carried out. It starts from a conceptual model where the creation of value is based on the attendance of the social needs, objectifying the social transformation. The configuration of social value is supported by the social mission, cultural norms and moral values of the company and the multiple actors that make up its value network. Shared value is based on the sustainability of all members of the value network. As a conclusion, it was identified that when the social organization has the configuration of its well-structured business model and has a well-structured network of partners, the organization is more able to create social value, to appropriate the results and share the Social value created. / Este estudo busca compreender modelos de negócios sociais a partir da lógica de criação, configuração e compartilhamento de valor social. Por meio de uma pesquisa qualitativa com gestores de três organizações sociais e quatro parceiros, foram realizadas análises e interpretações relacionadas ao desenho do modelo de negócios dessas organizações. Parte-se de um modelo conceitual onde a criação de valor é baseada no atendimento das necessidades sociais, objetivando a transformação social. A configuração do valor social é apoiada na missão social, normas culturais e nos valores morais da empresa e dos múltiplos atores que compõem a sua rede de valor. O valor compartilhado é baseado na sustentabilidade de todos os membros da rede de valor. Como conclusão, identificou-se que quando a organização social tem a configuração do seu modelo de negócios bem estruturada e conta com uma rede de parceiros também bem estruturados, a organização tem mais condições de criar valor social, de se apropriar dos resultados e compartilhar o valor social criado.
