Previous issue date: 2016-02-24 / Maria was admiring herself in the mirror. I could not see
her from where I was, so I changed my position. In
seeking her eyes I came across my: our reflexes merged
and I found myself Maria... and I found myself, Maria.
This dissertation is the result of a research into the
creative process of the theater play Due Lati della
Campana, which had as its premise the search for a
feminist approach in its conception, and the devised
theater as a reference for its creating method. The
research begins with the rescue of the story of Maria
Scariot, researcher’s great-grandmother, apparently
invisibly by her family due to some "non-normative"
behaviors regarding their time. Throughout this process,
we present reflections and new formulations made by the
project members about the proposed discussions related
to feminism. Finally, considerations are presented about
the created material, culminating in the preparation of the
dramatic text of this theater play. / Maria admirava-se ao espelho. Do ângulo onde eu estava não conseguia enxerga-la, então me posicionei ao lado. Ao buscar seus olhos deparei-me com os meus: nossos reflexos fundiram-se e eu me vi Maria...e eu me vi, Maria. A presente dissertação é resultado da pesquisa acerca do processo criativo do espetáculo Due Lati della Campana, que teve como premissa a busca por uma abordagem feminista em sua concepção, e como referência para criação o método devised theatre. A pesquisa inicia com o resgate da história de Maria Scariot, tataravó da pesquisadora, aparentemente invisibilizada por parte de sua família devido a algumas condutas ?não-normativas? em relação à sua época. No decorrer deste processo, são apresentadas reflexões e novas formulações feitas pelos integrantes do projeto acerca das discussões propostas, referentes ao feminismo. Ao final, são tecidas ponderações acerca do material criado, culminando com a elaboração do texto dramático do espetáculo.
