field of Administration. It will start with a historical revision of
the very act of investigating reality and how to better organize
the human knowledge and will advance to make a radical
interpretation of the epistemological vacuity of contemporary
academy. Here we defend that this vacancy comes from
existential and rational non-integrality of the individuals that
undertake their searches for both practical and theoretical greater
comprehension of what men wish, and how men develop and
manage the various forms of contemporary organizations. This
essay asserts the need to renounce affirmative assumptions and
subjective desires in order to perceive the complexity of the
historical present and of the human constitution, so to unify the
past (archaic) and the future (imagination) in connection and
continuity, considering more than what is known about science,
but also what we can learn from the symbols of art and traditions. / O presente ensaio é uma crítica das investigações acadêmicas no campo da administração. Partindo de uma revisão histórica do próprio ato de investigar a realidade e como melhor organizar o conhecimento humano, o trabalho irá fazer uma interpretação radical dos vazios epistemológicos da academia contemporânea, defendendo que isso deriva da própria não-integralidade existencial e racional dos indivíduos que empreendem suas buscas por melhor compreensão teórica e prática do que deseja o homem e como ele constrói e administra as variadas formas de organizações contemporâneas. O trabalho se encerra com a afirmação da necessidade de se abandonar pressupostos opinativos e desejos subjetivos para ousar perceber a complexidade do presente histórico e da própria constituição humana, e assim poder unir passado (arcaico) e futuro (imaginação) em conexão e continuidade levando em conta mais do que apenas o que sabe a ciência, mas também o que se pode aprender com os símbolos da arte e da tradições.
