through a practical research based on the theatrical text Waking up, [1] (1977) by Franca
Rame and Dario Fo. We investigate what motivates the growth of strictly feministtheatre and
comicaltheatre productions, and why many of these productions have a political bias.The
bibliographical researches about the work of the Italian artist Franca Rame, feminist/militant
in the theater through her political satires, give historical, theoretical support and establish
some artistic strategies to investigate the feminist practice. In the artistic research, a theatrical
exercise of direction was realized with the actress Thaís Carli, starting from the study of the
theatrical text Waking up. This exercise focused on the exploration of methods and procedures
for the female comedy production, as well as the thematic contextualization of the work
through the concept of f(r)iction (LYRA, 2011) between the life of the actress and the life of
the character to generate the theatrical spectacle DESADORMECIDA. / Esta dissertação investiga as relações do ato político na criação cênica feminista, a partir de
uma pesquisa prática fundamentada no texto teatral O Despertar,

Dario Fo. Investiga-se, quais as motivações geram o crescimento das produções cênicas e
cômicas estritamente femininas e o por quê de muitas destas produções possuírem viés
político.
As pesquisas bibliográficas e documentais sobre a obra da artista Italiana Franca Rame,
feminista/militante no teatro por meio de suas sátiras políticas, dão apoio histórico, teórico e
estabelecem algumas estratégias artísticas para investigar a prática teatral feminista. Na
pesquisa artística, foi realizado um exercício cênico de direção com a atriz Thaís Carli,
partindo do estudo do texto teatral O Despertar. Tal exercício teve como foco a exploração de
métodos e procedimentos de produção da comicidade feminina, bem como a contextualização
temática da obra por meiodo conceito de f(r)icção (LYRA, 2011) entre a vida da atriz e a vida
da personagem para gerar o espetáculo teatral DESADORMECIDA.
