Previous issue date: 2017-08-28 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior - CAPES / The objective is this work is to analyze the Brazilian intellectual representation in the movie Brasil ano 2000 (1968), by Walter Lima J?nior. Connected mainly to the works O desafio (Paulo C?sar, 1965) and Terra em transe (Glauber Rocha, 1967), Brasil ano 2000 (1968) was the answer elaborated by Walter Lima J?nior to denounce April 1964s cue and the political change that came from it ? a context that worked as ?lan to a whole process of artistic elaboration about this symbolic and complex episode. As a matter of fact, Brasil another 2000 took a stand not only against the regime, but also against all more conventional forms of the time's political activism, connect, then, to the national-popular movement. Among the questions, the self-representation made by it?s interlocutors ? the intellectuals of a nationalist matrix ? facing History's path and the roles they should occupy during the process. / O objetivo deste trabalho ? analisar a representa??o do intelectual brasileiro contida no longa Brasil ano 2000 (1968), de Walter Lima J?nior. Ligado, sobretudo, ?s produ??es O desafio (Paulo C?sar Saraceni, 1965) e Terra em transe (Glauber Rocha, 1967), Brasil ano 2000 (1968) foi a resposta elaborada por Walter Lima J?nior para denunciar o golpe de abril de 1964 e a mudan?a pol?tica que dele decorreu ? um contexto que serviu de ?lan para todo um processo de elabora??o art?stica, sobre esse epis?dio simb?lico e complexo. De fato, Brasil ano 2000 (1968) se posicionou contra o regime, mas tamb?m contra as formas mais convencionais de ativismo pol?tico da ?poca, ent?o ligadas ao nacional-popular. Entre os questionamentos, a auto-representa??o feita por seus interlocutores ? os intelectuais de matriz nacionalista ? frente aos rumos da hist?ria, e dos papeis que deveriam ocupar durante o processo.
