Esta dissertação é um estudo de caso sobre o NetEstado, a versão online do jornal O Estado de São Paulo. Com o desenvolvimento das publicações online na Internet, estas passam a utilizar os recursos interativos existentes na rede para a comunicação entre as pessoas. Para verificar como a questão da interatividade está sendo tratada neste jornal, foram adotados os seguintes procedimentos: acompanhamento da publicação, através da observação de alguns exemplares; entrevistas -com o editor-executivo; e entrevistas em profundidade com um grupo de leitores residentes em Porto Ale·gre - RS. Através da análise dos dados, foi possível conhecer as percepções do jornal e de leitores acerca do assunto, assim como apontar os aspectos onde há sintonia ou divergências. / This dissertation is a case study about NetEstado; the online version of O Estado de São Paulo newspaper. Concerning the development of online publications; we can observe that the interactive resources are present on the web to facilitate the communication among people. In arder to check how the interaction is being dealt with in thís newspaper; the following procedures were taken into consideration: careful observation of samples of the publication; íntervíews with the executive-editor and careful íntervíews with a group of readers from Porto Alegre-RS. Through the analysís of the data; ít was possible to get to know about both the readers and the newspaper's perceptions regarding the subject; and it was also possible to point out the aspects that are similar from the ones that diverge.
