Este trabalho se propõe a fazer um recorte de uma investigação, realizada no âmbito da Informática na Educação Especial em prol da inclusão digital e das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC). Tal estudo teve como objetivo a adaptação e apropriação da Tecnologia Assistiva (TA) em sujeitos com necessidades educacionais especiais, procurando responder: Como ocorre o processo de adaptação e apropriação dos recursos da Tecnologia Assistiva dos sujeitos com deficiência física na interação com ambientes virtuais/digitais de aprendizagem, com vistas à sua inclusão sociodigital? O referencial desta pesquisa baseou-se na teoria Sócio-Histórica de Vygotsky, que evidencia o desenvolvimento humano através da interação e apropriação de instrumentos de mediação. Nesta perspectiva, ofereceu aos sujeitos com necessidades educacionais especiais (NEEs) adaptações como a Tecnologia Assistiva, com o intuito de tornar acessível sua interação nos ambientes virtuais/digitais. Para analisar o processo de adaptação e apropriação da Tecnologia Assistiva de pessoas com deficiência física em ambientes virtuais/digitais de aprendizagem, optou-se pela metodologia qualitativa, e para coleta de análise de dados, o estudo de caso, focando-se em três sujeitos com deficiência física, através de observações diretas e interações com esses sujeitos. O transcurso deste processo ocorreu no Núcleo de Informática na Educação Especial (NIEE) da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Os resultados apontaram para uma bem sucedida adaptação da tecnologia, pois os sujeitos passaram a fazer melhor uso das ferramentas após a inserção de alternativas que supriam as suas necessidades. Além disso, percebemos que a TA possibilitou melhorias em termos de tempo e precisão de uso, o que corroborou para torná-los independentes e com mais autonomia em suas interações nos ambientes virtuais/digitais de aprendizagem. / This project has a purpose of making an investigation cut, realized in the Informatics in the Special Education scope in favor of the digital inclusion and the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Such study had as an objective the adaptation and appropriation of the Assistive Technology (AT) with individuals that have special education necessities, seeking the answer to: How occurs the process of adaptation and appropriation of the Assistive Technology resources of the individuals with physical deficiencies in the interaction with digital/virtual learning environments, looking for their social-digital inclusion? This research’s referential was based on the Social-historical theory of Vygostsky, which makes it evident the human development thru the interaction and appropriation of mediation instruments. In this perspective it offered the individuals with special education needs (SEN) adaptations such as Assistive Technology (AT) with the intent of making it assessable it's interaction on the virtual/digital environments. To analyze the process of adaptation and appropriation of the Assistive technology of individuals with physical deficiencies, in virtual/digital learning environments, the qualitative methodology was selected and to collect and analyze the data the study of a case focusing in three individuals with physical deficiencies, through the direct observation and interactions with these persons. All this process occurred at the Nucleus of Special Education Informatics (NSEI) of the Federal University of Rio Grand do Sul. The results pointed out a well succeeded adaptation of the technology, since the individuals started to make a better use of the tools after the insertion of alternatives that supplied their needs. Besides that we've noticed that the AT enabled improvements in terms of using time and precision, which contributed to turn them more independent and with more autonomous with their interactions at the digital/virtual learning environments.
