Previous issue date: 29 / Nenhuma / A dissertação analisa o Programa Cidade Educadora, coordenado pela Secretaria Municipal de Educação e Esporte de Esteio, cidade que integra a Associação Internacional de Cidades Educadoras – AICE- . A investigação, de desenho qualitativo, objetiva compreender os processos educativos decorrentes do Programa Cidade Educadora, estudando as articulações produzidas entre gestores, professores e pais dos estudantes matriculados nas escolas da Rede Municipal. Também investiga os impactos que o Programa está produzindo na qualidade de vida dessa coletividade, na perspectiva dos atores colaboradores com esse estudo. A educação é processo que ocorre por meio das experiências vivenciadas em todos os espaços da cidade e pela ação do conjunto das organizações governamentais e não - governamentais. Assim, o poder público e a sociedade, de forma articulada, exercem sua função educadora na busca da construção de uma cultura embasada e articulada na solidariedade entre os indivíduos, grupos e sociedade. Sob esse enfo / The study analyzes the Educating City Program co-ordinated by the City Department of Education and Sport of Esteio, which integrates the International Association of Educating Cities – AICE – The investigation of qualitative drawing tries to understand the educative processes decurrent of the Educating City Program, studying the articulation produced among managers, teachers and parents of the students registered in the schools of the Municipal Education Net. It also investigates the impacts the Program is producing in the quality of life of this collectivity, in the perspective of the actors who are colaborating with this study. The education is a process that occurs through the experiences lived in all spaces of the city and by the actions of the governmental and not – governmental organizations.
