Previous issue date: 31 / Nenhuma / Esta dissertação busca apresentar um estudo sobre o processo de mudança que as instituições de ensino privado passaram nos últimos anos, em particular as escolas lassalistas do RS. Tendo como pano de fundo o processo de mudança nas organizações, a pesquisa mostra como a gestão educacional passou por esse processo nos últimos anos e o impacto que essa mudança teve nas instituições de ensino no Brasil. Em particular e como objeto do estudo, é analisado o processo vivido por 11 escolas de educação básica da Rede La Salle, localizadas na grande Porto Alegre e no interior do Estado do RS. Como essas instituições acolheram e adaptaram-se às mudanças, como o ambiente organizacional interferiu em suas mudanças, o papel das lideranças no processo são algumas das questões que o estudo procura responder. A gestão educacional está inserida em um ambiente competitivo, e é parte da gestão empresarial com as características próprias do meio educacional. Para tanto, as instituições de ensino precisam aproveitar elementos pró / This dissertation intends to present a study about the process change that the private education institutions have undergone in the last years, in special the La Salle schools of RS state, Brazil. Having as scenery the change process in the organizations the research shows how educational management has undergone this process in the last years and the impact that this change had in the Brazilian educational institutions. Specially and as object of study it is analyzed the process undergone by 11 schools of basic education of La Salle Net, located in the great Porto Alegre and in the interior of RS state. How those institutions welcomed and they adapted themselves to the changes, how the organizational atmosphere interfered in their changes and the leaderships’ paper in the process are some of the questions that this study tries to answer.
