Komunikacijos problema šiuolaikinėje literatūroje: autoriaus ir adresato santykis M. Ivaškevičiaus romane "Istorija nuo debesies" / The communicative aspect of Marius Ivaskevicius novel "Istorija nuo debesies" ("A Story from a Cloud")

The present Thesis deals with the creative work of Marius Ivaškevičius, especially his first novel ‘A Story from a Cloud’ („Istorija nuo debesies”). It focuses on analysis of the keystone aspect, namely communicative features in the modern literature.
The Thesis mainly aims at a study of the communicative aspect of Marius Ivaškevičius’ novel „Istorija nuo debesies” (‘A Story from a Cloud’), considering how this aspect reveals itself in the novel, determining its meaning by emphasising peculiarity of the author’s communicative ideas, discussing a complex of problems in the communication theory, revealing importance of communication as a peculiar phenomenon in literature. The title of the Thesis provided with the opportunity of interpretation of the communicative aspect in the modern literature (in creative work of the youngest generation of prosaists). The theme is new and topical, because there are no publications on the issue.
The Thesis is mostly based on John Durham Peters’ communication theory study ‘Speaking to the Wind’, which is considered the most comprehensive study on the said theory; as well as on the articles by literature critic V. Kubilius, individual chapters of various books dealing with the communication and modern literature.
