La presente investigación pretende analizar las representaciones maternas que varones dependientes al alcohol han construido desde el establecimiento del vínculo con su figura materna. Para ello, se empleó una metodología cualitativa para acceder y explorar las representaciones mentales de la muestra. La recolección de la información se realizó a través de una entrevista a profundidad realizada en dos tiempos y la administración de dos láminas del Test de Apercepción Temática. Para el análisis respectivo, las entrevistas fueron grabadas y transcritas de manera textual. Se encontró como patrones comunes la construcción de representaciones maternas caracterizadas por una figura materna proveedora, que atiende las necesidades básicas de supervivencia, pero que no es percibida disponible afectivamente y presenta la dificultad para ejercer la puesta de límites en el manejo de la disciplina. En cuanto a los aspectos diferenciales, se encontró la percepción de una figura materna fragilizada y con conductas de maltrato y abandono. / This research aims to analyze the maternal representations that the alcohol dependent have been built since the structuring of the bond with his mother figure. For this, a qualitative methodology to access and explore the mental representations of the sample was used. The data collection was carried out through an in-depth interview conducted rebound and administration of two sheets of the Thematic Apperception Test. For the respective analysis, the interviews were recorded and transcribed textually. The construction of maternal representations characterized by a mother figure provider, serving the basic needs of survival was found to be common patterns, but is not perceived emotionally available and has difficulty setting limits exercise in discipline management. As for the differential aspects, the perception of a mother figure met behaviors of abuse and neglect. / Tesis
