Siendo el Perú el quinto productor de alcachofa en el mundo y el tercero en
rendimiento, con una legislación nacional promueve la industria a través de beneficios
tributarios y laborales sumado a tratados de libre comercio le permiten acceso preferencial a
mercados como Europa, Estados Unidos y Asia. La región la Libertad se constituye en un
polo de desarrollo en la actividad agroexportadora; en ese sentido esta tesis contempla la
implementación de un plan estratégico para el desarrollo de la Industria de la Alcachofa en la
región, teniendo como visión llegar a ser el principal productor de alcachofa a nivel nacional
en el año 2022. La Región La Libertad cuenta con factores favorables para el desarrollo de la
actividad productiva de la alcachofa, según la matriz EFE el Sector se posiciona por encima
del promedio por su capacidad de aprovechar las oportunidades externas y evitar las
amenazas. Considerando las características del tema, se aplicó una metodología cuantitativa
de investigación, lo que permitió recolectar información relacionada al tema con el objetivo
de realizar un diagnóstico que permita construir la visión, misión, objetivos, estrategias y
políticas para el Plan Estratégico.
Como resultados de la presente investigación, se tiene que la situación
macroeconómica actual del Perú, y sus buenas relaciones internacionales, tratados y
acuerdos, permiten que empresas Liberteñas tales como Damper Trujillo, Camposol,
Sociedad Agrícola Virú, garanticen su acceso a mercados internacionales aplicando nuevas
estrategias que permitan mejorar sus niveles de producción y rendimiento aprovechando las
ventajas competitivas. La actividad agro exportadora de alcachofa viene contribuyendo al
desarrollo de la Región, generando mayores niveles de empleo, aumentando del ingreso de
los trabajadores contratados por las empresas agro exportadoras, teniendo estas mayor
proyección a la comunidad contribuyendo con ello a mejorar la calidad de vida de la
población. / Being Peru the fifth producer of artichoke in the world and the third party in
performance, with a national legislation it promotes the industry across tributary and labor
benefits added to agreements of free trade they allow it preferential access to markets as
Europe, The United States and Asia. The region the Libertad is constituted in a growth point
in the activity a Agro exporter; in this sense this thesis contemplates the implementation of a
strategic plan for the development of the Industry of the Artichoke in the region, having as
vision manage to be the principal producer of national artichoke in the year 2022. The Region
the Libertad possesses favorable factors for the development of the productive activity of the
artichoke, according to the counterfoil EFE the Sector is positioned over the average by it
aptitude to take advantage of the external opportunities and to avoid the threats. Considering
to be the characteristics of the topic, a quantitative methodology of investigation applied to
itself, which allowed to gather information related to the topic to the aim to realize a
diagnosis that allows to construct the vision, mission, aims, strategies and policies for the
Strategic Plan.
As results of the present investigation, we have that the macroeconomic current
situation of Peru, and it good international relations, agreements and agreements, they allow
that companies such Liberteñas as Damper Trujillo, Camposol, Agricultural Company Virú,
should guarantee it access to international markets applying new strategies that allow to
improve its levels of production and performance taking advantage of the competitive
advantages. The activity agro exporting from artichoke comes contributing to the
development of the Region, generating major levels of employment, increasing of the
revenue of the workers contracted by the companies agro exporting, having major projection
these to the community it helping with to improve the quality of life of the population.
