Orientador: Ana Luzia Videira Parisotto / Banca: Raimunda Abou Gebran / Banca: Odilon Helou Fleury Curado / Resumo: A presente pesquisa foi desenvolvida no contexto da linha de pesquisa "Processos formativos, ensino e aprendizagem", do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (FCT/UNESP), campus de Presidente Prudente, e aborda a produção de textos - em especial a fábula - em salas de 4º ano dos Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental de uma Escola Municipal da cidade de Marília/SP. Esta pesquisa é de abordagem qualitativa do tipo estudo de caso e teve como objetivo analisar as dificuldades encontradas pelos professores para o ensino da produção de textos narrativos, especificamente o gênero fábula. Nessa perspectiva, foram objeto de estudo e análise: as dificuldades encontradas pelos docentes para o ensino de fábulas; os materiais didáticos e o Plano de Ensino utilizado pelos professores, no que diz respeito à temática pesquisada; algumas produções textuais dos alunos, selecionadas previamente pelo professor responsável pela turma como exemplos de boas produções e de produções inadequadas. Os instrumentos de coleta de dados utilizados compreenderam: entrevista semiestruturada com os docentes pesquisados; observações de aulas registradas no caderno de observação da pesquisadora e análise documental das produções textuais dos alunos. Os dados obtidos por meio de observações das aulas indicaram que a maioria das atividades de Língua Portuguesa estava relacionada a leitura de textos, atividades escritas... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / This research was conducted in the context of the research line "Training Processes, teaching and learning" of the Pos-Graduate Program in Education on Faculty of Science and Technology of the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (FCT/UNESP), Presidente Prudente campus, and it tackles the issue of texts production - specially the fable - in 4th degree classrooms of Elementary Education I in a Municipal School of Marília/SP city. This research is a qualitative approach of case report study and its objective is to analyze the difficulties encountered by teachers to teach of narrative productions, specially the fable. In this perspective, the object of study and analysis was: the difficulties encountered by teachers to teach fables; teaching materials and the Teaching Plan used by teachers regarding the topic searched; some textual productions of the students, previously selected by the teacher responsible for the class as examples of good productions and inadequate productions. The following data collection instruments were used: semi-structured interviews with the surveyed teachers, textual productions of students and observations of annotated classes at the researcher's observation book. The data obtained through observations of classes pointed that most Portuguese language activities were related to reading texts, activities written in the notebook or on printed sheet.
