Como se deu a construção e manutenção dos valores organizacionais trazidos do legado do imigrante japonês - Shunji Nishimura (1910-2010) - na trajetória de alunos e em sua utilização pelos professores nas práticas pedagógicas. Procurou-se compreender não somente o quê e como as pessoas representam, mas também como e por que o fazem dessa forma, recorrendo à Teoria das Representações Sociais para esse fim. Para tanto, um grupo de professores e alunos foi ouvido em diferentes momentos, utilizando-se de recursos variados (questionários, entrevistas). A leitura dos resultados possibilitou compreender que, na construção diária das práticas pedagógicas e nas aprendizagens dos alunos, encontram-se objetivados e ancorados os valores de seu idealizador, Sr. Shunji Nishimura. Esses valores povoam e compõem a subjetividade e memória desses atores, transformando-os em propagadores, construtores de novas representações. A análise dessas Representações Sociais suscitou pensar, também, no processo cotidiano de construção da cultura de uma organização, em que se fazem presentes seus pressupostos básicos, suas certezas, que compartilhadas determinam como seus membros pensam, sentem, percebem, agem e reconstroem. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This qualitative study sought to analyze, describe and understand structural aspects of social representations of organizational values from the constitution and routine of Fatec Shunji Nishimura. As it was the construction and maintenance of organizational values, brought from the legacy of the Japanese immigrant - Shunji Nishimura (1910 - 2010), on the trajectory of students and their use by teachers in their pedagogical practices. We seek to understand not only what and how people represent, but also how and why they do so, using the Social Representation Theory for this purpose. For this, a group of teachers and students were heard at different times, using different resources (questionnaires, interviews) and reading the results allowed us to understand that in the daily construction of pedagogical practices and in the students' learning the values are objectified and anchored of its idealizer, Mr. Shunji Nishimura. These values populate and compose the subjectivity and memory of these actors, transforming them into propagators, constructors of new representations. The analysis of these Social Representations has made us think, also in the daily process of building an organization's culture, where its basic assumptions, its shared certainties, are determined, as their members think, feel, perceive, act and rebuild. We emphasize, during the work, the social role of a Faculty, an organization whose purpose is scientific education within reach of all and hope that the results of this study can subsidize the institution in reflections and eventual restructuring in the pedagogical project, aiming at the improvement of their educational practices and the formation of conscious and critical subjects of the social and economic reality in which they act and not only the training of professionals who meet the economic demands and maintain the dominant social structure / Doutor
