<p>ABSTRACT (ENGELSK VERSION)</p><p>This is an essay about the modern information technology in swedish sports. It brings up three levels of the sports and shows the information technologys´ aims, needs and future goals.</p><p>The three levels in the Swedish sports that the essay presents is the following:</p><p>1. The idealistic and non profit Swedish sports and its information technology.</p><p>2. The commercial Swedish sports and its information technology.</p><p>3. The coach and the athlete and theirs information technology.</p><p>The study is qualitative and built upon semi-structured interviews.</p><p>The results from this study shows that the commercial sports is a more frequent user of modern information technology, than the other sportsorganisations in the study.</p>
