Baserat på tidigare studier finns det en stor utvecklingspotential inom byggbranschen där de mest berörda områden är logistik och materialhantering till och på byggarbetsplatsen. Att effektivisera bygglogistiken skulle kunna medföra att produktionskostnaden minskar med en tredjedel. I tillverkningsindustrin förflyttas produkten, men i byggbranschen är produkten, dvs. byggnaden, kvar på samma plats. Att produkten står kvar på samma plats leder till att det är en del aktörer och material som ska dela på en avgränsad yta. Dessa faktorer bidrar till en sämre logistik för projekten. När material dessutom ska transporteras till en byggarbetsplats belägen i en trång miljö blir det svårare. Att effektivisera bygglogistiken leder även till att hela projektet kan gynnas ekonomiskt och tidsmässigt. I denna studie har en litteraturstudie gjorts och tillsammans med det har intervjuer utförts för att förstå hur tjänstemän och yrkesarbetare i byggbranschen tänker kring bygglogistik. Dessa intervjuer har därefter analyserats och granskats. För att effektivisera bygglogistiken i täta miljöer är det tydlig kommunikation och information som är nyckeln mellan alla entreprenörer. Det är även gynnsamt att utse en logistikansvarig på arbetsplatsen då det bidrar till en bättre samverkan mellan alla inblandade i projektet. Resultatet visar även att använda sig utav tredjepartslogistik är ett tänkbart alternativ för att effektivisera bygglogistiken. Tredjepartslogistik brukar vara ett företag som hanterar logistiken i ett byggprojekt under produktionen. Det finns även digitala verktyg skapade av företagen som anses förenkla mellan entreprenörerna då det skapar en tydlig kommunikation. Alla projekt är unika och det är inte realistiskt att benämna de typiska svårigheter som uppstår för projekt i täta miljöer, dock kan en god planering minimera risken för att problem uppstår. / According to previous studies, there is a great potential for development in the construction industry where the most affected areas are logistics and material handling to, from and also on the construction site. An improvement in construction logistics could result in a reduction by one third of the total production costs. In the manufacturing industry, the product in the manufacturing process is constantly moving. In comparison to the building industry where the product is the building itself and the building being stationary forces the actors involved to share a limited amount of space for materials etc. These factors conspire to worsened construction logistics for the projects. Therefore, it also increases the likelihood of complications to arise in the transportation of materials when the building is situated in a tight area. To streamline the construction logistic can lead to economic benefits and an increased time/work efficiency in these projects. In this study a literature study was done combined with interviews with key-people in the building industry for an increased awareness and also to grasp the current condition and the negative effects of construction logistics in dense environments and why the construction industry suffers due to these situations. The opinionand thoughts of these key-people in the industry will increase the understanding of the current challenges that the construction industry is facing today regarding logistics, materials in tight areas etc. These interviews have afterwards been analyzed and audited. The key solutions to these difficulties and to make the construction logistics more efficient are clear, transparent and correct information and communication between the entrepreneurs/contractors. It is favorable to appoint a logistic manager on the construction site as it contributes to a better collaboration between everyone involved in the project. The result also shows that using thirdparty logistic is also an alternative to efficient the building logistic. Also, digital tools are considered to simplify processes between the entrepreneurs and suppliers because it creates a better communication. Every project is unique and it is not realistic to name the typical problems that occurs for projects in dense environments, however a solid plan can minimize the risk of problems occurring.
