The purpose of this study was to obtain more knowledge about pre-school teachers thoughts about the stimulation of childrens five senses when exploring the preschool enviroment and how it looks when practiced at the preschool. This study is based on semiconstructed interviews of four preschool teachers. The result of this study shows that these preschool teachers consider that the stimulation of childrens senses is important when children explore their enviroment at the preschool but it is to a high degree based on the preschool teachers unawareness. The five senses are stimulated but it is mostly spontaneous when moments emerge during the day. Keywords: Senses, children, preschool, Piaget
