Pedagogers uppfattning om inskolning i förskoleverksamhet : En kvalitativ studie om pedagogers uppfattning om olika inskolningsmodeller - traditionell inskolning och föräldraaktiv inskolning

When children start preschool, it can be a big change for the whole family and for many children the first big separation in life. The first meeting of preschool takes place through introduction. In Sweden today, there are mainly two models of introduction that are being practiced - traditional introduction and parental-active introduction. Child introduction to preschool is an underdeveloped area where the views today differ among educators and researchers and a medial debate is ongoing about the pros and cons of the models. The purpose of the study was to investigate how educators perceive the different schooling models. The survey has been conducted using qualitative interviews of five educators working at different preschools. The analysis focused on the perceptions of the educators about the different education models, how they relate to them, and what the educators consider to be the most important aspect of in-school education. The result shows that the choice of education model and performance looks different at preschools. My interpretation is that the choice of education model is not based on research but on the educators' experience of the different models and that the goal of education is to be based on each child and family in order to be able to personalize the education as far as possible in the business. The study contributes to a broader understanding of how the education models are practiced in different activities, as well as the educators' perception and experience about these.
