Thin Thesis dose not attempt to give a comprehensive history of Arabic drama, nor does it deal with the work of the producer and actor. It concentrates on the work of five leading playwrights who are representative of movements in the modern Arabic theatre, and discuses this from the literary and dramatic angle.
