[pt] Buscando oferecer à indústria, uma opção barata e eficiente, é desenvolvido o projeto de um equipamento que busca automatizar prensas convencionais. Com esse objetivo, é selecionada, entre várias
alternativas, uma configuração de montagem das partes mecânicas, são especificados seus componentes, assim como os acionadores que produzirão os movimentos. Como última etapa, é implementado um programa interativo, BRAIN MACHINE, que, após dialogar com o operador, controla automaticamente o posicionamento da chapa e aciona a ferramenta no devido momento. / [en] In order to offer to industry an inexpensive and efficient option, it is designed an equipment that seeks to
automate conventional presses. With this aim, among some alternatives, a buiding configuration of the mechanical parts is selected, its components are specified, as well as the actuators that will produce the movements. The last step involves the implementation of a interactive program, BRAIN MACHINE, that, after keeping a dialog with the user, controls automatically the positioning of the plate and puts the tool into action In the right moment.
