[pt] O comportamento de protocolos nó-a-nó com relação a
utilização de buffers e do meio de transmissão é analisado
neste trabalho.
São estudados os comportamentos de dois protocolos já
existentes. Um destes apresenta um procedimento que
utiliza eficientemente os buffers do nó, enquanto que o
outro, utiliza eficientemente o meio de transmissão.
Englobando as características destes protocolos,
desenvolveu-se um terceiro protocolo que possibilita a
utilização eficiente dos buffers, quando há escassez de
capacidade de armazenamento e, utilização eficiente do
meio de transmissão quando existe uma grande quantidade de
informações a serem transmitidas.
Este trabalho foi desenvolvido através de um modelo de
simulação em linguagem SIMSCRIPT, qual é própria para
simulações de eventos discretos. / [en] In this study we analize the behavior of node-to-node
protocols concerned to use of buffers and link.
We have studied the behavior of protocols that had already
been developed. While one presents a proceeding that uses
efficiently the buffers of the node, the other uses
efficient the link.
Having combined these characteristics of these protocols,
we developed a third one which enables a efficient use of
buffers, when there´s lack of capacity of storage. In
addition to that, it uses efficiently the link, when there
is a lot of information to be transmitted.
This work has been developed by a simulation model, in
SIMSCRIPT language which is adequate for dicrete events
simulation.
