Návrh využití nástroje ECCAIRS 5 Taxonomy Design Tools / Proposal recovery tools ECCAIRS 5 Taxonomy Design Tools

Mašková, Šárka January 2018 (has links)
The diploma thesis focuses on describing the potential modifications of the ECCAIRS system, using the Taxonomy Design Tools toolkit, and creating a proposal to use the toolkit to simplify the user experience of the ECCAIRS system on a national level. The theoretical part includes a description of the legislation related to the aviation accidents and incidents reporting, covered by the Regulation (EU) No 376/2014, followed by the procedure of aviation occurrence reporting in the Czech Republic and the description of the ECCAIRS system, its tools, features and modification options. The practical part of the thesis contains the proposal of using the specified toolkit to optimize the ECCAIRS system usage efficiency, including a detailed description of the steps taken to achieve that goal.

Efektivní využití omezeného herního prostoru / Effective Use of Limited Game Space

Brestič, Tomáš January 2018 (has links)
Current generation of consumer electronics products for virtual reality (VR) allows to track user motion in physical play area which can be converted into a corresponding change of their position in a virtual environment. There are, however, some potential pitfalls with using this approach as the main method of user motion in the virtual space. Therefore, vast majority of contemporary applications is based on different methods that do not take advantage of the available play area and the possibilities of the input devices in their entirity. The main goal of this thesis is to propose and demonstrate a feasible way of implementation allowing the use of available physical space and to try to evaluate whether basing the user motion in an application on the described approach can result in an increase of user interest, attract more users and offer them better experience, and whether it therefore can be profitable in spite of all the related disadvantages.

Analýza vlastností nástroje dashboard založená na automatické dekompozici obrazovky / Analysis of Dashboard Attributes Based on Automatic Decomposition of Screen

Mejía, Santiago January 2018 (has links)
The aim of this paper is to propose a method for automatic segmentation of dashboards so that they can be analyzed using aesthetic by means of metrics. These metrics analyze the properties of the screen objects by region. This method is based on bottom-up segmentation method and creates objects based on proximity. The main result is a faster and more accurate analysis of dashboards, as there is no need to manually segment the image.

Analýza a návrh informačního systému pro autoservisy a zákazníky / Analysis and Design of Infomation System for Car Services and Customers

Činčár, Lukáš January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on the design of an information system for car services and their customers, which is designed for evidence of orders, cars and service records. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part describes the theory of creation of the information system. The next part contains the analysis of the current situation and description of the problem. The last part is divided into two parts, one part describes designed information system using data ant functional modeling and the second part shows the design of user interface.

Program pro interaktivní sestavování rodokmenů / Program for Interactive Family-Tree Making

Navrátilová, Eva January 2019 (has links)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of an application for interactive family-tree making. The application supports importing and exporting data in GEDCOM format, further editing of the data, visualizing the data in family charts and their export. The design of the program is modular. It is implemented using C++ and Qt. The program was released for testing amongst the group of Czech and Slovak genealogists and their opinions on the program were obtained and analysed.

Tvorba mobilní aplikace a podnikatelského plánu pro začínající start-up / Development of a Mobile Application and a Business Plan for a New Start-up

Miklánek, Peter January 2020 (has links)
The Master‘s thesis deals with the design, implementation and creation of a mobile application and a business plan for a new-coming start-up which offers rental intermediation for movable goods. The application is designed for a mobile platform Android. It focuses on user-friendly interface while containing functionality of adding and viewing rental advertisements for movable goods. The first part of the thesis deals with theoretical outcomes of the operating system Android and the structures of business plan. The following parts concern the analysis, design and implementation. The conclusion is aimed towards the business plan blueprint.

Návrh gramatiky a uživatelského rozhraní pro filtrování a vizualizaci časoprostorových dat / Design of Grammar and User Interface for Visualization and Filtration of Spatio-Temporal Data of Road-Users

Hauerland, Richard January 2021 (has links)
Objective of this thesis is about design of grammar and user interface for filtering and visualization of spatiotemporal data. The initial task is to get acquainted with evaluation of traffic data based on trajectory analysis. The next part is the design and description of a formalism which allows spatial filtering and filtering based on static and dynamic attributes. Based on the created formalism, data analysis application with a user interface is designed. Design process was preceded by a comparison of existing solutions. Application is implemented in Qt Framework using C++ and QML languages.

Applying Principles of Game Design to User Interface

Venngren, Evelina January 2021 (has links)
This thesis investigates how principles of game design can be applied to a PC game settings menudesign to make the interaction fun and enhance the user satisfaction of interaction and navigation.Through exploring the question “How can principles of game design be applied to UI design inorder to enhance the user satisfaction of interacting with an interface?” it might be possible to addto the experience of using UI without removing any of the usability goals that is customary today. This is determined through user testing of a common design pattern of game settings menusrecognized in World of Warcraft (2004) Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (2011) Stardew Valley (2016)and a game settings menu designed through game design principles where the respondentsevaluated their experience in an SUS form (Brooke, 1996) and a form created for this study basedon Swink’s (2009) Game Feel. The results revealed that the common menu design generatedhigher scores in usability than the interface designed through game design principles but therewas no significant difference in game feel between the prototypes. However, when dividing gamefeel into questions regarding usability and aesthetics a clear difference between the twoprototypes could be determined where the prototype designed through game design principlesdisplays a trend to score higher in aesthetics than the traditional UI. This could be strengthenedthrough optional comments from the participants where 6 used the word “fun” to describe thegame design prototype while the traditional UI design were described with words such as“functional” “intuitive” “straightforward” “easy to use” and “felt more like a chore”.
