Nástroj pro usnadnění testování GUI webových aplikací / Productivity Tool for Web Application Testing

Kalous, Filip January 2019 (has links)
The goal of this thesis is to create a tool for testing graphical user interface of web applications. The tool will focus on web applications implemented by open-source framework DotVVM. The main purpose of the tool is to automatically generate program description of a user interface which will then be used as a helper class to implement UI tests and for static type check of those tests at compile-time. The thesis is defining requirements for such a tool and describing its design with implementation in C# language. The created solution provides to its users a tool which will ease their work with tests creation. Also, it will bring detection of failing tests of the user interface at compile-time which will speed up testing and development.

Systém pro automatickou kalibraci robotického nástroje / System for Automatic Calibration of a Robotic Tool

Šála, David January 2020 (has links)
This Master's thesis describes the design and implementation of an experimental sample for automatic calibration of a robotic tool using machine vision methods under the auspices of the company SANEZOO EUROPE s.r.o. It deals with the analysis of all used methods of performing TCP calibration, on the basis of which it is implemented. The application is based on the Point-counterpoint method, where the robot is guided against the calibration point from three different directions, all perpendicular to each other. The calibration point is set using the ArUco marker. In order to detect the endpoint are used images from two cameras that are at the right angles to each other. Using conventional computer vision methods and an HSV filter, the endpoint of the instrument is found in the images and is guided to the calibration point. From the obtained coordinates, the searched endpoint of the robotic tool in the robot coordinates is found using the optimization method Particle Swarm Optimization. This application, therefore, performs TCP calibration in a fast time, thus reducing production downtime almost without human intervention.

Vizuální zpětnovazební řízení pro humanoidního robota / Visual servoing for humanoid robot

Nedvědický, Pavel January 2020 (has links)
This thesis deals with construction of a cheap robotic manipulator, which should be used for exhibitions and educational purposes. This project is a teamwork of two students. A robotic arm with four degrees of freedom was developed. Control and power electronics were installed for whole robot. The software’s aim is to develop a software that can control the robot by visual feedback, obtained from image processing of an image from 3D camera. Lastly, a graphic user interface for robot movement control is presented.

User Interfaces and Gaming Performance : How the Type of UI Elements Impact Player Performance in FPS Games

Tran, Thien, Berg, Samuel January 2021 (has links)
Electronic sports (esports) is an activity in which players compete against each other in video games. It could be beneficial for the esports industry if players were to perform more consistently. The user interface in the game is one aspect that could impact player performance. In this study, the six user interface element types defined by Fagerholt and Lorentzon in 2009 were used as the context for comparing player performance. The purpose of this thesis was to discover how the graphical user interface of competitive first-person shooter (FPS) games affect the player’s ability to perform mechanically and comprehend information, as well as determining what players value in such user interfaces. This was achieved through the use of experiments and interviews in the context of a game that was developed for this study. In the game, the participants played through levels with different user interfaces in which player performance was tracked. This study discovered that the diegetic user interface performed the best in mechanical performance and information comprehension. Meta-perception resulted in some of the worst mechanical performance. More cluttered user interfaces appeared to worsen reaction times. There was also a vague indication suggesting that more cluttered user interfaces worsen information comprehension. In terms of user preferences, the non-diegetic user interface was the most preferred. In contrast, the participants preferred the geometric user interface the least. Through the thematic analysis, it was discovered that various factors may be beneficial to consider when designing user interfaces using different types of elements. The factors are beneficial to consider because they may affect player performance. The factors are concerned with the following: information balance, contrast, clutteredness, use of numbers, position of elements, use of health bars, element sizes and presentation of ammunition stacks. However, further studies generating statistically significant results would be required to confirm these insights.

Software pro převzetí kontroly nad počítačem / Software for assuming control over the computer

Kostelník, Jan January 2008 (has links)
The introduction of this Master’s thesis describes a historical and technological evolution of the terminal application, including its advantages and disadvantages. In the following part, a general description of the services and their understanding are mentioned. The benefits and general advantages of the terminal services are described. For the each type of the terminal service, all the functions, options, exact advantages and disadvantages are described. Consequently, the study of the suitability of the compression is presented. On the demo application, the impact of an excessive (voluntary) loss of information is demonstrated. In the next part, the thesis deals with the most frequently used remote-control applications. The tests and comparisons are made as well. The fifth chapter is the fundamental part of this work. The design approach of the workbench is presented there. Consequently, the design approach and system implementation intended for the supervision and control is described. This system makes the user possible to observe other user’s activities and also to control their workstations. The supervising user can also access their drives and other memory devices, which are located in the monitored workstation. The communication is compressed and encrypted. The symmetric and asymmetric encryption algorithms are used there. In the following part, there are two supplementary applications mentioned – application for the key generating and network file manager. In the end of my work, the results of the performance test and also the design of other improvements are presented.

OCR cíleně znehodnocených textů / OCR of image based web form protection

Peluch, Tibor January 2009 (has links)
The thesis deals with programming of application in operating system Windows. Main features of application system Microsoft Foundation Class are resumed in brief here. In following part there is idea about implementing an application with graphic user interface that makes, using schema, work with data, possible. The third part deals with implementation of blocks into dynamic linked libraries and there is outlined a possibility to use data of this programme as an external module and a possibility of realtime data processing e.g. picture and sound. The verification of a good functionality of this application is in the last part. The application is really tested in diagnosing of devaluated texts for protecting web forms www.centrum.cz. There were designed blocks making picture read possible just from internet, preprocessing, segmentation, feature extraction, evaluationg in neural network and blocks that make possible to read and save processed data into the disc.
