No. of bitstreams: 0 Previous issue date: 2017 / Trata-se de uma pesquisa de usuários do Sistema de Informação da Extensão da Universidade Federal de São Paulo (SIEX/UNIFESP), cujo o objetivo é analisar o Sistema de Informações de Extensão – SIEX – para cadastro e credenciamento dos programas e projetos sociais da Proec/Unifesp como espaço educativo para a comunidade acadêmica. A motivação para este trabalho surgiu diante da quantidade de ações registradas no SIEX/UNIFESP desde o seu lançamento e da experiência da pesquisadora em mediar o contato entre usuário-sistema. O caminho metodológico abrangeu a aplicação de questionário aos Coordenadores de Programas e Projetos Sociais e entrevistas semi-estruturados com Coordenadores das Câmaras de Extensão e Cultura dos Campi da Unifesp. O SIEX/Unifesp implantado em 1999, vem sendo reconstruído a partir das demandas e necessidades, respondendo a uma política nacional de criação e sustentabilidade de sistemas de informação que permitam disseminação, troca e amplificação das Ações, projetos e programas extensionistas. Os resultados e os movimentos analíticos permitem apreender um entendimento ampliado sobre extensão universitária como espaço de produção de saberes e construção de nexos orgânicos entre universidade e sociedade. As experiências significativas realçadas por Coordenadores enfatizaram a troca de saberes, o encontro com a comunidade, a partilha de práticas e a valorização do diálogo como estratégia e método. O SIEX constitui-se em um espaço importante para sistematização de informações e planejamento das ações, porém enfrenta nós críticos em relação às condições de trabalho, adequação às diferentes naturezas dos projetos de extensão e valorização por parte da comunidade acadêmica. Essa pesquisa contribui para as atividades de extensão da UNIFESP ao dar voz aos usuários do SIEX/UNIFESP, apreendendo suas percepções e conhecendo suas experiências extensionistas e com o SIEX/Unifesp, permitindo, aprimoramentos e avanços. Ao situar o SIEX/Unifesp como espaço educativo, o presente estudo gerou como Produtos (1) Manual de Utilização do SIEX/Unifesp e (2) Proposta de Discussão Compartilhada do SIEX/Unifesp como espaço educativo. / This is a survey of users of the Extension Information System of the Federal University of São Paulo (SIEX / UNIFESP), whose objective is to analyze the Extension Information System (SIEX) to register and accredit the programs and social projects of the Proec/Unifesp as an educational space for the academic community. The motivation for this work arose in view of the number of actions registered in SIEX / UNIFESP since its launch and the researcher's experience in mediating the contact between user-system. The methodological path covered the application of a questionnaire to the Coordinators of Programs and Social Projects and semi-structured interviews with Coordinators of Extension Chambers and Culture of Unifesp Campi. SIEX / Unifesp, implemented in 1999, has been rebuilt based on the demands and needs, responding to a national policy for the creation and sustainability of information systems that allow the dissemination, exchange and amplification of the Extension Actions, projects and programs. The results and analytical movements allow us to grasp an expanded understanding of university extension as a space for the production of knowledge and the construction of organic links between university and society. The significant experiences highlighted by Coordinators emphasized the exchange of knowledge, the encounter with the community, the sharing of practices and the valorization of dialogue as strategy and method. SIEX is an important space for information systematization and planning of actions, but it faces critical nodes in relation to the working conditions, adequacy to the different natures of extension projects and valorization by the academic community. This research contributes to the extension activities of UNIFESP by giving voice to the users of SIEX / UNIFESP, apprehending their perceptions and knowing their extensionist experiences and with SIEX / Unifesp, allowing for improvements and advances. By situating SIEX / Unifesp as an educational space, the present study generated as Products (1) SIEX / Unifesp User Manual and (2) SIEX/Unifesp Shared Discussion Proposal as an educational space.

Réactivité des cycles tendus du silicium vis-à-vis des métaux de transitions : un accès rapide à des drogues silylées polycycliques / Reactivity of strained silacycles toward transition-metals : a rapid access to polycyclic sila-drugs

Ces travaux de thèse portent sur le développement de la première synthèse du squelette des 10-silastéroïdes, et cela grâce à une cascade cycloaddition [2+2+2]/extension de cycle. Après quelques rappels sur la chimie du silicium et sur son utilisation comme bioisostère du carbone en chimie médicinale, une vue d’ensemble de la littérature concernant les extensions de cycles tendus sera réalisée. Celle-ci nous amènera à détailler notre stratégie et ses trois défis importants qui seront abordés dans les chapitres suivants. Le premier est la préparation de silanes polyinsaturés susceptibles de réaliser notre cascade réactionnelle. Pour cela, le silicium doit porter quatre groupements différents. Dans ce but, trois synthèses ont été mises au point afin d’améliorer sans cesse la préparation de ces silanes. Le second défi de ce projet est l’accès au benzosilacyclobutène par cycloaddition [2+2+2], ceci étant la première étape de notre cascade. Cela est réalisé à l’aide d’une catalyse au NbCl3.DME, permettant ainsi la synthèse de benzosilacyclobutènes hautement fonctionnalisés avec de très bons rendements. Cette nouvelle synthèse est plus performante que la seule voie de synthèse existante dans la littérature, que se soit au niveau des rendements, de la fonctionnalisation des substrats, mais aussi grâce à des conditions plus douces. Le troisième défi est le contrôle de la régiosélectivité de la réaction d’extension de cycle des benzosilacyclobutènes. Cette régiosélectivité est grandement influencé par le métal utilisé. Ainsi, l’utilisation du catalyseur de cobalt CpCo(CO)2 pour notre cascade conduit au silapolycycle linéaire. La catalyse avec RhCl(PPh3)3 permet quant à elle d’accéder au silapolycycle angulaire désiré, possédant un atome de silicium en jonction de cycle, et donc au premier squelette de 10-silastéroïde. / This PhD work deals with the development of the first synthesis of the 10-silasteroids scaffold, using a cascade [2+2+2] cycloaddition/ring expansion. An overview of silicon chemistry and its use as a carbon bioisoster in medicinal chemistry is covered, followed by a description of the literature on ring expansion. Then, we will explain our strategy and its three main challenges will be discussed in the following chapters. The first one is the preparation of polyunsaturated silanes wich is capable of performing our cascade reaction. For this purpose, the silicon atom must have four different substituents. To reach this goal, three synthesis were developed in order to gradually increase the preparation of the silanes. The second challenge is the access to benzosilacyclobutenes by a [2+2+2] cycloaddition reaction, this reaction being the first step of our cascade reaction. It was done using NbCl3.DME catalysis, allowing the formation of highly functionalized benzosilacyclobutenes in high yields. This new synthesis is more efficient than the previously described literature synthesis, in means of yields, substrat functionnalizations, and mild reaction condition. The third challenge is the control of the regioselectivity of the ring expansion of the benzosilacyclobutenes. This regioselectivity mainly depends on the metal used. For exemple, the use of CpCo(CO)2 catalyst gives to the linear silapolycycle. Whereas, RhCl(PPh3)3 catalysis yields to the desired angular silapolycycle, containing the silicon atom at the ring junction, leading to the first synthesis of the 10-silasteroids scaffolds.

Towards rural innovation extension delivery in Lesotho : the perceived benefit of a multi-stakeholders intervention approach

Rural Agricultural Extension System in Lesotho depends on how successful extension knowledge is assembled from multiple actors and applied. Issues are wide ranging, from professional management and technical capacity constraints to the use of multiple, often overlapping and competing approaches by various role players, to mention just a few. First, the study identified multiple actors in rural agricultural extension. Second, it assessed the extent of multi-stakeholder coordination and the approaches used in rural extension. Third, it presented a comparison between best innovative models as identified in the literature and the practices in Lesotho. Fourth, it developed an innovative intervention model for knowledge transfer in consultation with the users of extension service in the two rural settlements. Using a mixed-research method conducted in two rural settlements from Ha Lejone in the Highlands and 'Muela in the Eastern Foothills of Lesotho to study the problem of coordination among actors, anecdotal evidences suggested that the patterns of interaction are not as effective and efficient as they potentially could be. The results show a mismatch of activities between service providers and farmers in terms of inputs provided and inputs required. Poor inter-ministerial and institutional coordination cultures are the majorelements preventing more effective interaction among actors. Introducing a multi-stakeholder intervention approach maps out roles and relationships within the extension knowledge systems by incorporating practices that are already known with exotic ones would give a fresh impetus to the reform of public sector agricultural extension in Lesotho. Policy recommendations for better use of innovation knowledge systems and approaches in the delivery of extension services, concludes the thesis.
