[pt] Materialmente construídas, ou simbolicamente imaginadas no curso de suas histórias, as cidades produzem dinâmicas de interações sociais entre pessoas e grupos- que por intermédio das interações criam uma diversidade de culturas e modos de vivê-las, onde a escola moderna de características conservadoras, em nome de um conhecimento erudito a ser preservado e transferido, ou mesmo em nome de uma formação voltada para ordem do mundo do trabalho, tradicionalmente de forma autoritária excluiu do processo educativo escolar. Na contramão desta tendência, o presente estudo compreende que as grandes cidades, com suas contradições, desigualdades sociais e suas diversidades culturais devem ser entendidas como um campo de possibilidades no interior do qual as pessoas produzem identidades e narrativas com base em suas experiências de vida. O cenário urbano carioca se configura, assim, como um espaço diversificado em que se revelam embates e disputas por variados significados de indivíduo e de sociedade. Em função das suas especificidades históricas, e das características inerentes à vida nas grandes cidades, constitui-se como espaço onde as relações socioculturais se redefinem a partir das variadas possibilidades de experiências que as situações cotidianas nos colocam. Diferentes regiões da Cidade caracterizam-se como produtos e produtoras de relações sociais, onde são estabelecidos vínculos sociais, em função dos quais são criados ambientes de identificação e alteridade entre os indivíduos e grupos que fazem usos variados do seu território- bem como produzem ideias e imagens da Cidade como um todo. Desta forma, o presente estudo teve por objetivo compreender a relação de jovens moradores de subúrbios cariocas com o espaço da Cidade, buscando verificar se as situações sociais, no contexto específico investigado, podem interferir- de acordo com as narrativas dos entrevistados- na construção de um sentido partilhado de experiência(s) urbana(s); em outros termos, podem produzir um sentimento relativamente compartilhado do que seja viver a e na cidade; bem como podem interferir em suas expectativas de vida. / [en] Materially or symbolically built, imagined over the course of their histories, cities produce dynamics of social interactions between people and groups-that through the interactions create a diversity of cultures and ways of living them, where the modern school of conservative features, on behalf of scholarly knowledge be preserved and transferred, or even in the name of order-oriented training in the world of work traditionally by dictat deleted of the educational process in schools. Against this trend, the present study comprises the major cities, with its contradictions, social inequalities and their diversity should be understood as a field of possibilities within which people produce identities and narratives based on their life experiences. The carioca urban setting is configured, as well as a diverse space where clashes and disputes are revealed by varied meanings of individual and of society. On the basis of their historical specificities and characteristics inherent to life in big cities, constitutes itself as a space where social and cultural relations to redefine from the varied possibilities of experiences that the everyday situations in place. Different regions of the city are characterized as products and producers of social relations, where social ties are established, on the basis of which identification environments are created and otherness among individuals and groups who make various uses of their territory-as well as produce ideas and images of the city as a whole. Thus, the present study aimed to understand the relationship of young residents of Rio de Janeiro suburbs with the city space, seeking to verify that the social situations, in the specific context under investigation might interfere with-according to the narratives of respondents-in building a shared sense of urban experience (s) (s); in other words, can produce a relatively shared feeling than be live on city; well as may interfere in their expectations of life.
