No. of bitstreams: 1 dissertacao_nelia_cardoso.pdf: 1466645 bytes, checksum: dadc47946d306e87758d6b0a3d3763fa (MD5) Previous issue date: 2007-02-22 / The general aim of this paper is to verify the statistical relations of instability rates with the total amount of precipitation ocurred in value bands,in order to determine the reliability of each of the instabilities rates studied since precipitation acts directly in agriculture,clothing and planning of events and parties,leading the study of such variable to be widely explored,so that there is a greater understanding,and then a great planning about the above-mentioned examples and many others.The precipitaion,as well as its form,is associated with the characteristics of instability of the atmosphere,this meteorological variable is determined through studies of the superior atmosphere configuration,using data from aerological soundings.Such information is collected by superior air stations existing in few localities in Brazil.In the research proposed it was used only instability rates which include mathematical equations supported by values of atmospheric variables obtained of aerological soundings.In the execution of this study it will be used precipitation daily data from the meteorological station of orto Alegre,pertaining to the 8 th district of meteorology of the Nacional Institute of Meteorology INMET,from the Ministry of agriclture, cattle and supplying -MAPA,and also daily data of instability rates obtained through atmospheric soundings carried out in the meteorological station of superior air at the international airport Salgado Filho in Porto Alegre.The period of this data was from 1990 to 2005.It was verified that the indexes of instability when related separately with the rain they did not present good results.But,all together ones,got better plenty the relationships with the rains. / O objetivo geral do presente trabalho foi verificar as relações estatísticas,dos índices de instabilidade com o total de precipitação ocorrida,em faixas de valores.Para determinar a confiabilidade de cada um dos índices de instabilidade aqui estudados, pois a precipitação age diretamente na agricultura,no planejamento de festas e eventos,no vestuário,enfim,fazendo com que o estudo desta variável,seja cada vez mais explorado,a fim de que haja um melhor entendimento,e com isso possa ser feito um bom planejamento para os exemplos citados acima,e tantos outros.A precipitação,bem como sua forma,está associada às características de instabilidade da atmosfera,essa variável meteorológica é determinada através de estudos da configuração da atmosfera superior,utilizando informações de sondagens aerológicas e essas informações são coletadas pelas estações de ar superior, existentes em poucas localidades no Brasil.Na pesquisa proposta,foram usados apenas índices de instabilidade que envolvam equações matemáticas alimentadas por valores de variáveis atmosféricas obtidas de sondagens aerológicas.Na execução desse trabalho serão usados dados diários de precipitação da estação meteorológica de Porto Alegre pertencente ao 8 0 Distrito de Meteorologia do Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia INMET do Ministério da Agricultura Pecuária e Abastecimento MAPA e também dados diários de índices de instabilidade,obtidos através de sondagens atmosféricas realizadas na estação meteorológicas de ar superior do Aeroporto Internacional Salgado Filho na Cidade de orto Alegre.O período desses dados foi de 1990 até 2005.Verificou-se que os índices de instabilidade quando relacionados separadamente com a chuva não apresentaram bons resultados.Mas,todos juntos,melhoraram bastante as relações com as chuvas.
